Perfect property near where we wanted to be.

It was a great location. Everything was walkable distance.

When staying in a large city with an infinite number of hotels to select from; finding a way to sort through the possibilities is critical. We have found Relais and Chateau properties to be welcoming, well-appointed and staffed with gracious, knowledgeable staff. Heritage Madrid provides a gold standard for the brand. The property is situated in a very accessible but quiet part of the city, the bedrooms, and bathrooms while not huge are very pretty with comfortable beds, pillows, and amenities. Breakfast is delicious and comes with multiple options for large and small appetites. The rooftop bar is made special with climbing roses and jasmine. A truly wonderful place for wine after a day of sightseeing. We have absolutely no negative feedback or even suggestions for better service at this property. Amazing location and brand new.

Our room was charming and immaculately clean. The AC worked well and the soundproofing was exceptional. We could not hear the street noise at all. My only "complaint" is the lack of down or feather pillows. The hotel only has friber-filled and memory foam pillows (king sized). Maybe these are the most common in Europe, but for the price point the hotel should offer feather pillows upon request. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and was well-stocked with hot and cold options. Overall, we loved the hotel and would definitely stay again in the future. The location on Gran Via is perfect for dining and shopping. The street and sidewalks can get very crowded, but as I mentioned, the room is sufficiently sound-proofed so that street noise was no issue. The metro is conveniently right across the street.
