"My trip had a rocky start when I arrived. The management quickly remedied the issues that I encountered to make my trip enjoyable. The staff was very on point with the customer service recovery. I was moved to a great room with one of the most incredible view of the Hudson. They accommodate my spa treatment even during their renovation. I can’t wait to return back for another amazing experience. A minor issue was phone service was poor, but I was able to do WiFi calling."

"This inn with cabins is a gorgeous setting with a nice vegetable garden, the setting is a bit remote and we like it, very quiet, unfortunately the restaurant was close."

"I'm house-hunting in Hudson, so my wife and I have stayed in a few other hotels and B&Bs there. However, one night in Pocketbook and I'll definitely continue booking there. I don't understand the complaints about the noise or rude staff, becauee we experienced the exact opposite. The staff were warm & welcoming, and very friendly. Overnight, it was peaceful and quiet.
