This cozy, classic, red-painted farmhouse awaits you in the beautiful Småland region.



The house dates back to the 1800s and you can feel the history as wide plank floors, exposed wooden walls and beautiful old fireplaces give the living room and bedrooms a cozy atmosphere that makes you hope for a rainy day where you can enjoy a fire in the fireplace and a good book or a game. There is also a projector in the house, so you can also turn on the home theater with a PC you brought from home. The old kitchen of the house has been retained but extended to make room for a large family and friends and invites you to prepare the raspberries, blueberries or mushrooms you can pick on short walks in the area. The kitchen is the heart of the home and connects directly to the sunny terrace and garden, so even if you want to take your time preparing delicious meals, you can keep up with family activities. The upper floor is designed for extra space, as the house can easily accommodate many guests, and the small, cozy annex is always in demand.



In the barn you will find, among other things, bicycles for excursions into the Småland cultural landscape in which the house is located. Experience the forest and occasional fields with a few cows, red-painted houses and forest lakes. If you want to mow the lawn, there is a garden tractor in the barn that you can drive around with.



In the winter months, if you are lucky, there will be snow. Use the cross-country skis from the barn or go to the small alpine slope Vångabacken, which is about an hour's drive away.



Note: However, the house takes about 12 hours to fully heat up, but then the heat stays really good throughout the vacation with firewood from the shed in the fireplaces.
