"This villa is spectacular. It’s views of the Ionian Sea with Mt. Etna in the background are unrivaled. The pool is saltwater and large. The patio is massive and there must be a dozen places you can’t sit, each offering something special. It has long tables for family dinners both inside and out. The property is totally private and even the clothesline is a lovely brick patio with a blooming bird of paradise and the fragrance of the sea. It is really a magical spot set for making family memories.Giani and Francesca, the caretakers, are lovely and happy to help with anything you need. Francesca’s lasagna is probably the best I’ve ever eaten. Her Tiramisu was up there as well. They are eminently friendly and helpful for anything you need.At this price, this is a great stay. However, a professionally run and managed property, it is not. The host was not particularly responsive and generally seemed uninterested in providing the slightest bit of support. Towels were old and worn and a general cleanliness of the house was lacking. Basic necessities (toilet paper, dish soap) were short until we asked for them. The only other downside is it is a bit far to places you might want to go - there is no nearby market or restaurant and downtown Syracuse is a good 40 minutes away. As others have mentioned, if you can move beyond the quirks of the place, this is a great value stay. You won’t find such a large property in such a spectacular setting at this price anywhere else."

"Delightful vacation home very close to the beach! In a gated community which very private.one needs a car to get to the place and to access shopping/restaurants. The three spacious bedrooms have large comfortable beds, there is also a crib for baby or toddler. Wi-Fi works very well, as does the TV. Well appointed kitchen with large refrigerator, toaster oven and four burner gas stove, espresso pot and kettle for hot water. The back garden was abloom with citrus trees! Washer, drying rack very handy. We finished off the oranges and there were MANY lemons left(in April).All in all we had a wonderful week enjoying the delightful home, beach and views of Aetna!"

"This villa was absolutely perfect for what we needed. 6 adults, 3 children. It was beautifully appointed with comfortable space for everyone to be on their own or come together. The views were outstanding and the location was perfect for driving around Sicily. Our host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She provided extra support like shopping and eating recomendations and even left the pool open so my kids could do a cold water plunge on New Years! There is even a rooftop terrace that was perfect for relaxing in the sun or drying the laundry that doesn't stop when you travel with three young people. I would go back and stay here in a heartbeat. "We had amazing time at Giardino del Sole.The rooms are nice and clean and were cleaned daily.The area is lovely,quiet and perfect for a relaxing break.Kids loved walking around the farm and spotting animals.We had dinner twice in the restaurant-very delicious food and very reasonable prices too.Staff is very attentive and friendly.Definitely recommend it!"

"This villa is old and yet very charming. The living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and the bathrooms have been updated a bit. The outside terraces and views of Mt. Etna and the Ionian Sea were the show stoppers for sure. Most beautiful views you could imagine and the private swimming pool with outdoor warm shower were an added delight. Fun place to stay with family and friends."
