We loved this hotel! The buffet breakfast was quite extravagant - there were almost too many options! The hotel has a public bath/sento. It is not tattoo friendly, though I had no issues using it with a tattoo cover. It was just one bath, but it was relaxing. The room was well layed out and the bathroom was a decent size. There was a bit of a strange smell in the lobby and common areas when we first arrived, but it disappeared by the next day and must have been a weird fluke occurrence. It didn't bother us any other day. We assume it was maintenance. It's just a short walk from a tram station and relatively close to the Peace Memorial Park. Would definitely recommend this place!

This hotel is such a lovely retreat to relax and unwind. The service here is really helpful and friendly, the room is comfortable and clean, and the views are amazing. Both the private onsen and the public onsens are really nice. It’s the sort of hotel you don’t want to leave during the day since you want to stay and enjoy all the little activities and experiences. They’ve thought through so many details of the guest experience, and have added unique and special touches. My family enjoyed the games, private sauna, and letter writing room. For all that is offered, the price is reasonable. The front desk is helpful. My son had lost his bag on the Shinkansen earlier that day and the staff was instrumental to us in locating the bag as we do not speak Japanese. They were so concerned and gracious. Highly recommend!

"This place was amazing. The local train was maybe 5 minutes away. The showers had great water pressure. This place had super fast WIFI. There was even a “kinda” beach right outside the front of the hotel overlooking the mountains. The restaurant was super yummy. And the staff was very polite. Great ..."
