Hotel Beacon
4.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (1004)

"The hotel was friendly and convenient. My room had a very tiny window. And I felt like I was in a cave. I spent 3 nights there and wished that I had a better room. I asked when I checked in and they said that was one of the larger rooms with a king bed. Also, it would have been nice to have a room coffee service though the. French bakery downstairs was a wonderful touch. I did enjoy a lot of walking in the area. And often walk versus taking a cab."

Also subway is close. We walked to the theatre district for a play. I was so happy to find that cleaning staff found my wallet. I had left it in the safe and staff had given it to the office. What a huge relief!! Nice to know we do have some decent honest people in this world!! Excelsior is our...
