"We loved our stay in Stanley. The house was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the location was great. It’s right in the middle of town and a short walk up to a great view of the surrounding mountains. We appreciated the washer and dryer, the well-stocked kitchen, and the comfy mattresses."

Stanley House - Hillside Cabin with Panoramic Views of the Sawtooth Mountains

"We are a repeat guest, which already says a lot about how much we enjoy staying here. The home is private and secluded, but at the same time just minutes away from fishing, hiking, canoeing, or grabbing an exceptional bite in "town." (I highly recommend Stanley Baking Company, Sawtooth Hotel Restaurant, Papa Brunee's Pizza and Stanley Supper Club. They are all 5-10 minutes away and you won't be disappointed.) And if you want to just hang around the house, it is hard to beat coffee or lunch on the deck with an obstructed view of the incredible Sawtooth Mountains. The main family room is a great gathering spot for everyone to relax on the reclining sofa at the end of a busy day and watch a movie on the XL big screen tv. The home also has plenty of room if you want to escape for a break, reading, or even catch-up on work, if you must. Everyone played pool, table shuffleboard and horseshoes. We also enjoyed a night out at the firepit roasting marshmallows. We have stayed at a lot of VRBO's; however, this one is special and feels like a home away from home. It is hard to leave. Wendy is also a top-notch host. Thank you again Wendy. Don't change a thing!"

"The cabin was amazing ..very cozy and well stocked. Greeted by Jim and delicious cookies. The property was quiet..very scenic with beautiful Mountain Views and short distance to the hiking trail . Thank you Jim for everything ..we had an awesome time. Looking forward to our next visit."

"We arrived to the house to find it spotless. Check in was easy and we were very pleased with the location and amenities. We especially loved the views. Wow, those views!! We were able to easily walk to town to eat. Did I mention the views?! The stars at night were stunning. We are bird lovers, and there were plenty of birds to view. This was a wonderful stay and a great trip."

"Great location in Stanley. We enjoyed the fantastic views and sounds of the river as well as proximity to great hiking in the Sawtooth Mountains! The cabin was larger than expected. We look forward to returning. As mentioned by others, expect sulfur smell - most noticeable in bathrooms."
