Stay for the scenery
Staff was very helpful and checked the room. We had stayed before so we made this a stop. Unfortunately our sink was plugged and there was garbage under the beds. Other than that, sheets and room were clean. No lights are left on at night so be careful. Will probably stay again. Beautiful scenery.

The room was very dirty, the toilet had brown all over the bottom of the seat, there were dead flies in the tub and on the floor in the room, as well as dead flies squished on the walls. Stay away.

Old property, clean. Heat did not work, even after asking twice to get it turned on - slept in jacket to make it through the night.

Clean and comfy
Great stay for a nt on the road. Friendly folks at check in. Comfy beds and good tv stations. Provided snacks and coffee, bottles, toasted bagel and cornflakes in the morning. Menu for hot food looked good, but had eaten already. Stayed with 2 cats who appreciated the open windows to see the pheasants and resident fox. Nothing fancy, but clean and adequate in a lovely setting (lake) next to the Highway. Would stay again.

Property was dated, but was suitable for our needs for one night. The gentleman at the front desk brought us extra water and juice boxes and opened the breakfast room early for us. Very much appreciated!

They had a storm go through the area and we were not able to stay there as there was no running water and no power. The gentleman that met us was very kind and said they had know idea when the power would return. Suggested we carry on down the highway to find a place to stay.

The dock is not safe, did not want to use it, but as a watch out, going to hurt someone. Rolled into town as a storm had just knocked out the power and water as a result. Host was fine, but told we would have power back at 9pm, again not his fault,, unless they should have had proper tree removal and a generator? The place was filth, filthy,,, tried to make the most of it,,host came around looking for an e transfer to get paid,, which most if not all hotels you pay at check out? Insisted on money that night,,, I tried to call Expedia, and got on a chat with medhat, asked for pics, came back ready to continue chat and send attach pics, medhat abruptly ended conversation and all my info I was trying to relay,, I was asking Expedia to help with host to negotiate a better rate,, not cancel, medhat asked if I wanted to cancel , we had been there for a few hours already,, I asked host for a better rate, gave me $20.50 off,,was not happy,,, the place had kitty litter under the fridge, which leaked when it defrosted because of the power outage,, wet dirty kitty litter smell, under vanity was disgusting, shower sink, under bed,, I e transferred him ,, he came back right away saying did not get and needed his money,, I spent 30 minutes with my bank to find out he had the money, 2 minutes after I sent it,,, I went back to ask him and he said that he had it,, would have been considerate to walk the 20ft to let me know,,, the advertised reviews on Expedia are not accurate,,, I wanted some
