"I arrived at 2:00 AM in -20 F, and this wonderful woman met me and walked me over to another building where our room was for the night. The following day we realized that we had left our extension cord for the engine block heater at the location and they found the cord and kept it at the front desk for us when we returned 3 days later. The rental car company would have charged us $100 if we failed to return it with the car!"

"Great stay! The house was exactly as promised and the layout was perfect: master upstairs and the kitchen and living room in the middle and downstairs had two more bedrooms and a full bathroom, giving both couples plenty of privacy. Everything we needed was there, and the hot tub was amazing, especially soaking in it during the freezing weather. Would be perfect for families or couples traveling together!"

"We overall enjoyed our stay. I was worried after booking after seeing alot of bad reviews... but honesty it was perfect for us. As long as youre not expecting fancy and do not mind a little outdated- its a great place to stay. Pros: -Decent free breakfast -Warm rooms -Very nice staff -Mini fridge in room Cons: -Not nearly enough hot water to use jacuzzi in bathroom- we tried twice -Shampoo and soap- but no conditioner 😫 -Rooms not soundproof as advertised- but luckily we did not have very loud people staying around us. Overall, we would stay again, especially for the good price!! "

"This was a very fun property for our family to stay at. It was within 10 to 15 minutes of everything we wanted to take our children to for our trip. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the pans we needed to cook with at the property. The bathroom had plenty of towels. There was a lot of space for everyone to relax in. The home had a very rustic, outdoors, Alaskan feel. It was fun to see all of the history of the area through maps, newspaper articles, and books that the host had at the property. The check in process was super smooth. We ended up arriving several hours later due to a snow storm and the hostess had our rooms nice and toasty for us and left the door unlocked. She was quick to respond to my questions. The only reason I docked one star for cleanliness, was the whole unit could use a good deep clean, especially the kitchen, and I did vacuum the full unit before we unpacked our things because dogs are permitted on the property and my children are very sensitive to pet hair and there was some in the carpet of the unit. In addition, the unit has had smokers in it at some point and my family is very sensitive to that. I know smoking is allowed on the property outside, but some of that did permeate in the unit. The unit has a beautiful view. We were able to enjoy the gorgeous frozen view from inside the unit. It was well stocked with games and things for the kids to look at. Thanks for a fun stay. "

"Beautiful home that was perfect for a couple or small family. The home was spotless and had more than enough things we needed during our stay. If we ever come back to Fairbanks, we'll be staying here again. "
