"I have nothing positive to say. Paying over $150 per night for a room should ensure the basics of a safe, clean environment and friendly staff. The smoke detector was sitting on the counter, the trash wasn’t emptied, the tub drain was broken and knob sitting on the tub ledge, not all outlets worked, it wasn’t communicated there was no housekeeping for my 2-night stay. This was all after I requested to be moved from the first assigned room due to an overpowering unidentifiable smell. "

"Starr is an amazing host! We had some difficulty with the lock when we first got there, we reached out and she answered immediately, even though it was really late. The house is an older home and she has worked to keep its original charm while continuing to update the things that require it. Do the floors creak? Yes they do, just like an older home should. The house was just as pictured down to the beautiful pots on the porch filled with pretty flowers. I recommend Starr’s home and would stay again."

"This hotel looks absolutely nothing like the pictures. Luckily the lady at the front desk let me look at the room before I continued with my reservation and I walked right back to the front desk and canceled right away. They were very pleasant about it but I do not recommend this property."
