"Communication before our arrival was good. However, when we got there, the owner mentioned there was a key for the cabinet, but it didn’t work, so we were unable to lock the door, which did not feel safe.Then we went shopping for supplies for that week and settled in that evening. Then things started going bad. The first toilet in the main cabin wouldn't flush, couldn't use it, then the second toilet stopped working, the water was at the rim, my husband spent hours trying to improve it so we could use the bathroom, which we only peed, no #2's at this property!. So we had to leave the property to go find a bathroom, and it was late, and the nearest bathroom was far. Came back, attempted to sleep, then the air conditioner stopped working in the main cabin. It attempted to cycle on and off every few minutes, so we turned it off so it wouldn't burn out, and the cabin became very warm. My husband was up all night trying to fix the toilets. And moldy smells were coming from the AC. The next morning, after not sleeping and having nowhere to use the bathroom, we packed up to get out of there. We contacted the owner to explain the situation and let him know we were relocating. He was initially apologetic and said he would submit a refund, so we thought the matter was resolved. However, he later became defensive and accused us of trying to get out of the rental and said, “Karma is a ...........”"

"Great communication between the owner from travel disruptions to general checkout questions. This place was perfect for one person just doing a few days of fishing. Everything I needed to relax and be comfortable after fishing all day. Apartment was clean and functional for my needs. If they will have me back I’d book this place again."

"Our overall summary is that this is a great location, cute unit with nice furniture and comfortable bed, but there needs to be more focus put on cleaning and communication. The online description matches the unit. Modern furniture and the couch was nice to have. We did not receive details for check in or check out, but was able to check in at the hotel. We have stayed at the location in a different unit in the past so knew the basics. We found the cleaning of the unit to need some work. Floors were swept but need a wash. Shower tile needs a good scrub, faucets and light switches need to be washed. We also found lightbulbs out and no battery for the fan remote. Just a note that there is no freezer in the mini fridge. Sent a message 3 days ago but did not yet get a response."
