"After reading some negative reviews of this place, I was a bit hesitant to book a stay here, BUT let me assure you, we truly enjoyed our stay and wished we had more nights here! The whole place reminded me of a stately grand dame who has seen better days, is aging, could use some tender loving care to smooth out the wrinkles, but the good bones are there, the history is palpable, etc... The room was welcoming and had everything in it, kitchen and more, to support a longer stay if needed. The bed was comfy, the bathroom clean. Yes, the door and keypad were finicky, but once we learned the trick (push in before putting the code in) we were fine. We did not have time to try out the pool, but it looked beautiful! A woman there said she and her husband had been coming here for years. We also did not have time to breakfast here, so cannot comment on the quality. It is a bit pricey from the looks of it. Anyway, I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for old Florida flavor, and not perfection. Thumbs up from us! "

"This was the most perfect vacation home. It is incredibly beautiful, more so than the pictures portray. The home has amazing attention paid to details and the pool/spa overlooking the river is the best. The hostess is kind and responsive. Wonderful experience, beyond expectations. "

"It’s a great location, very quiet and peaceful pool was refreshing, I know it’s probably needed but the smell of mothballs was a little strong. Kitchen has everything you need, balcony has a nice breeze and views. I would recommend it to anyone! We would stay there again!Unless it sales. Thank you Cyndi for letting us stay there "

"The unit was cute & clean and had everything we needed. We loved the location as it is close to Marco Island, downtown Naples and the Everglades. The pool is huge and the restaurant at the hotel had delicious food. We did airboat rides, beach days and hiking. It was beautiful sitting on the enclosed porch looking out at the boats. Great value for the money."

"What a fun place to stay. My son and I came down for fishing trip and wanted stay on a boat. The first met us and showed us around the yacht and gave us all the details. Very accommodating. It certainly be back."

"Beautiful home in needs of some TLC. For instance we were unable to eat outside as the picnic table was unusable due to being in bad shape. Printed information about the house would be welcome. Privacy shades would be good for the half bath. Otherwise it is a great place. Very quiet and walking distance from everything. "
