The small fishing village and harbour of Union Hall is located on the western side of sheltered Glandore Harbour, in west Cork. A small fishing village of 200 residents, the village is a popular holiday destination in July and August. Boat tours depart from here for whale watching; minke, humpback and fin whale are seen regularly.

"we had a nice holiday, quality price ratio was reasonable. the cottage is very poorly maintained and not clean. the owner is super friendly. Internet is via prepaid card with limited use costs her €50… each time she tops up. she had to do this twice, she was not very happy with it."

"Plenty of room for our family, and Rosscarbery and its grocery store are very close. We really liked running into Rosscarbery for a quick bite and a pint. Wifi was slow, but it existed, which wasn't the case in one of our other stays. Cute garden, and a nice, quiet space to be."
