Overall experience

We had an amazing time with my family. The rooms were clean. The staff members were amazing and very welcoming. I am humbled with the kind of service I received, my grandparents were happy and relaxed. The breakfast was nice and well prepared. We come to visit family in The Midlands twice a year from Australia. We needed a place close to Durban Airport close to the N2 to make it easy to find at night. This hotel is tidy friendly and clean and very well placed. The position next to the mall is ideal for air conditioned walking after an early rise due to jet lag. The rooms are small but for the money it great value for our purposes. We wil use this hotel again.

We use this hotel as a stopover when we fly in to Durban from Australia. It is cheap and the facilities are good value lfor money. Only annoyance is there was only one person checking in at close to 11pm. They also ran out of the excellent underground parking spots. We parked in the adjacent mall parking but the entrance from the rear was not monitored and we had to walk around. Service however was friendly and room was clean and tidy.

I can't say less about our stay it was amaxing. The place is clean and neat and comfortable. Our room was very small but nice and clean and it was a double bed I think it will be more convincing if you can get a small bar fridge in your rooms. Another thing there was no water for us to make tea. The only option was to tap at the toilet so we chose not. Atleast have 1 litre of still water for your guests to make tea or coffee. Unfortunately for me I did not take pictures.

Good clean hotel that is close to Gateway shopping centre and great restaurants BUT the noise levels by Gauteng guests who were down for the July handicap were unacceptable. 3 star people in fancy clothes who thought it appropriate to run screaming down hallways. Of course, the hotel cannot control this (and I found the same when I went back to the Pearls). Not screaming but drunk as skunks and high as kites. What is happening South Africa?
