"We only stayed here for one night just for a stop over so we didn’t expect much. It was cheap and surprisingly very spacious. The best part was that the futons provided were the most comfortable futons that I’ve slept on during my trip. Wish we stayed longer, it had a really honey and camp feel which I really liked compared to the busy city hotels we’ve stayed at.

I wished they had air condition in the common aisle area as the weather can get very hot (the room, kitchen area had good air conditioning). Also we had guest complaining about any noises as you really had to open/close door quietly etc...and some guests the very last day was very noisy until 3am in the morning while the door of the rooms, youi could hear everything. Also, there is absolutely nothing in the room fridge. The last hotel we stayed before this one provides 17 types of complimentary drinks… so you can tell the differences. And the so called onsen is basically just a bathtub in the yard. Hotel recommended us to a nearby sushi place for dinner and it’s nasty. The sushi maker took in cash bills by bare hands and went back to make sushi for us without even washing his hands. I would probably pay 1/3 or 1/2 of the prices for this place. It’s not a bad place. But it’s definitely not worth the price. 200USD/night max for the quality of the facilities and services. It’s awful that we paid close to 700 USD/ night for this. Don’t go"
"Review as an English foreigner. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I arrived in the evening and the staff was not there and would not respond to my messages. Thankfully, a group of older Japanese men were there and helped me get in, choose a bed and get set up for the night. They were great and led to a great Hostel culture. Comfy bed and clean. I would recommend, but make sure you check in early or I doubt the hostel owner will be of much help, unfortunately. Though I may have just been unlucky."
"5 stars for the owners kindness and hospitality. He drove us to a supermarket to buy some food, took us to Aoshima and drove us to the airport the day we left. He was super friendly offer to the photos and help us make our trip pleasant. We stayed in the trailer. It was the first time to stay in a trailer for my wife and son. They loved it and I am sure it will be a great family memory for all of us.
