"We were originally concerned about possible noise from others (we were on the top floor, and had a neighbour directly across from us), but it wasn’t an issue for the duration of our visit. The hot tub was out of service during our stay which was disappointing. The stairs inside were very narrow, so more caution coming down. "Although small, the cabin is very well laid out & has everything you need for a nice, comfortable stay. Very quiet at night, which is important to me. Very short walk to the Wild Pacific Trail, which is not to be missed. (My only suggestion is to install an electrical outlet on the right side of the bed so a cell phone or other electrical device can be plugged in without having to get out of bed to do it)."

"Capitan Joel and Luc were awesome hosts. My husband took a trip out to get some halibut and had an amazing time. Caught a 42lb halibut to take home. The houseboat is clean and comfortable, we love the window to the sea. Such a fun experience. Highly recommend Strawberry Island for your next vacation."

"Mom, dad and 2 adult daughters - cottage had everything we needed for our stay!! Many meals made in the kitchen and bbq. Lots of thought went into setting up this cottage - great bedding, blankets on the couches, every kitchen appliance we needed was available, games/puzzles…even nice toiletries! Perfect location to North Chesterman beach. Exceeded our expectations!!!"

"We loved the proximity to the west coast trail, and to the beautiful rocky beach. We had our dog with us, and it was ideal. There were no issues with self check-in. We were there long enough to need more household supplies, , and they were brought over within an hour of requesting them. All of the important things were clean (kitchen, bathroom, sheets, etc. ). There was visible dust in the harder to reach areas, but it wasn’t a true problem. "

Appreciated the daily texts we received to give us updates on local events and suggestions. Loved relaxing on our deck, drinking our morning coffee and watching the boats in the harbour.
