Michel's Cabin is a rustic cozy 2 bedroom cabin with a small friendly kitchen and private deck with outdoor hot tub. Downstairs bedroom features a double bed and upstairs a queen size bed and 2 twin beds. The deck features comfortable patio furniture, BBQ, and soothing 4 person hot tub that makes for a perfect getaway. Whether you're looking to enjoy a romantic escape with your partner, or getaway with some family or friends, Michel's Cabin is the place for you. This vacation rental Cabin also features free wireless internet.

Michel's Cabin is in a quiet residential area. We have a strictly enforced no groups, parties or late night noise policy; especially in the midst of the current pandemic.

My wife, two kids and I were in Nanaimo for a week for one of my lifting competitions and we really wanted a place for a few days to wind down with beach access before heading home. We highly recommend Michels Cabin. Michel worked very hard to not only build the cabin itself but also was so creative with the walkway down to the beach and the garden surrounding the house. The place was clean, had 4 beds and awesome views from the deck facing the ocean. Never had an issue during our stay and communication from the property managers via email ahead of time was great (check in process, traffic updates etc.) We will book here again when back in Tofino

Family late winter getaway

Had a great vacation at the cabin. The location is incredible and could not be better in Tofino. Beach access out the back door to Chesterman beach. Rental was comfortable for our family of 4. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Loved our stay

I have stayed at Michels cabines on a number of occasions and will continue to come back. Beautiful location right on the beach and the cabin itself is a true cabin that gives you that great holiday feeling. The large deck is a big bonus.

Ideal Location

This comfortable & cozy beachfront cottage, with it's hot tub looking out to the ocean, was perfect for our family trip. We surfed, biked and ate way too much gelato from the local chocolate shop. The cabin's location is ideal.

Perfect location!

You can't beat the view of Chesterman Beach from the hot tub. We enjoyed walking along Chesterman Beach to eat at Pointe Restaurant at the Wick. The walk back after dinner was magical under the stars.

Bliss on Chesterman Beach

Despite some torrential rain (it is early April and Vancouver Island after all), Michel's Cabin was a treat to experience. It's rustic charm suited us just fine -- so anyone looking for a Four Seasons type experience should pass on this spot. The big bonus is the view and direct connection to the waterfront -- we spent several sessions in what I dubbed "The Lifeguard Chair" taking in the panorama. Hoping to return again soon.

The sound of the surf will lull you to sleep

The location is ideal. It’s wonderful to be-able to sit in the cozy little cabin while watching the surfers ride the waves. The cabin (which it truly is) reminds me of times gone by, Tofino 30 years ago, which suits me just fine. We had a lovely stay.

Great location and charming cottage

This was our third trip to Tofino and we chose Michel’s cabin for its location in our favorite beach. It did not disappoint! The view from the deck was amazing and a path on the property offered quick access to the beach. The cabin itself was full of charm and offered all the amenities that we needed on our stay.

Rustic charm with sunsets to die for!

The 3 nights at Michel's cabin was exactly the calm we needed after the frenetic trip through the Rockies. Listening to the sound of the waves lull you to sleep and the view from the hot tub was priceless. We BBQ'd on the back deck and ate on the front deck whilst watching the surfers. The location is exceptional.

Best Cabin and Location on the Beach

We had an awesome time staying at Michel's cabin, the location couldn't be more perfect, the cabin is just right for a family and so cozy. A little rustic, but that adds to the charm. Clean and all the amenities that you need. Couldn't ask for more! We will be back!

Great Spot

Great stay at Michel's cabin. The location is fantastic. Only one downfall is the bedroom in the main floor is a solarium so when its raining alot (which it can), it was extremely loud in that room. Other than that, no complaints.

Fairy tale cabin

This cabin looks like Hansel and Gretel would live here but it is directly on a premier surfing beach. It has all the comforts, hot tub on a deck, charming garden, full kitchen, etc., etc. but also chickens, a casual museum of beach finds at the beach, and the owner is nearby. I would love here forever!

Location location location

Excellent location, absolutely stunning spot. Cabin is capital R rustic- kitchen is a hodge lodge, beds are not great quality and shower has had an odd fix so that you have to stand against the curtain to be under the water. Would be great if there was an outdoor shower for after surfing, using the garden hose on the lawn was not great.

Great little retreat

We had a wonderful 4 day 3 night stay at Michel's. We loved the proximity to the beach and town. Great spot for storm watching! We had a minor issue with the toilet not flushing, but it was quickly fixed by the owner once he was notified of it. This is my second stay at Michel's Cabin and would return in a heartbeat! Thank you Michel!
