This property is really good as to stay as the center of Ubod and shopping area is walking distance and accessible to all necessity. Staff are very friendly and up to time to update your arrival even its late in the night.

Enjoyable small and cozy rustic bed-and-breakfast with access to a small pool. The staff was wonderful. The price is hard to beat and the location is in walking distance from Ubud Palace. The wood carvings on the doors are amazing and the beds were comfortable. We did not explore the food options, but opted for finding cafés in town.

Really good spot if your not too bothered about rooms. Negatives were that it is up an incline alley, which was hard for suitcases. There was also no elevators, worker helped us with bags. But my 70y/o mother inlaw struggled a bit with the stairs. You could request a room on the ground floor which I assume they would be more than happy to accommodate though. Also the shower and the toilet are same room with no walls or separation. (Shower goes directly onto toilet floor, like a wetroom, which is a slipping hazard)

Really happy with my stay overall. The area was very convenient and i was able to walk everywhere i wanted to go, lots of food options nearby, and many shops. The room was large and comfortable and i apperciated the free breakfast delivered to my room daily. All the staff were super kind and helpful.

This is a lovely place and hidden gem in the heart of Ubud. The hotel is quiet and has a serene garden and family temple. The owner and staff are very attentive and gracious. I highly recommend this place.

We loved staying at Sayong House! It's perfectly located, just a short walk from the street with lots of shopping, dining options and temples. Staff is incredibly friendly. What's really unuque is that breakfast is served just in front of your room and the decor is beautiful. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best boutique hotels that I have ever stayed in. It’s family owned and the staff is most helpful. It’s at the end of a quiet alley off the main street. There are several nice restaurants and good shopping nearby and a MiniMart. Highly recommended.

Excellent value. The best location in Ubud. You can walk everywhere. The hotel is immaculate, the family and staff lovely and attentive. The banana pancakes were a treat. Only downside is spotty Wi-Fi and one plug outlet in the room. I would without question stay here (and will) again!!👍👍

I really enjoyed to stay at Sayong House. Very convenient to walk around Ubud. All staff are so friendly and kind. Yummy breakfast serviced on time. Kadek arranged a tour and a taxi to next distinction. She is very easy to talk to and she gave me a lot of advice where to go as well as what to do. Definitely recommend to stay here. Especially, first time to visit in Ubud. Thank you very much for a lovely stay and welcomed!

Absolutely loved it!

From the moment of my arrival I was greeted with such a friendly welcome and I loved every day after. All the staff were so sociable and personable. Always willing to assit. Perfect location in heart of ubud and set back from the main road so nice and quiet. Breakast delivered to your room at your chosen time. Lovely pool. Book tours on site. I really cant recommend this place enough

Really nice place in the perfect location!!! Beautiful architecture and temple in center of property. It is located off of the busy street so it's very quiet and tranquil surroundings, but still within a quick walk to anything and everything. Pool looks beautiful, but we didn't use. Breakfast was yummy and delivered to our room at our requested time every morning. It's a super bargain at the price. Large spacious room, clean, cold AC, drinking water provided at lobby to refillnoue bottles. Super friendly and warm welcoming staff. We liked it so much we extended our stay for an extra night. Highly recommend!

We had the most beautiful stay at Sayong House. Kadek, the owner, was so lovely and so helpful - she was available at any time to answer questions or book activities/taxi's for us at great prices, booking through the hotel seemed cheaper than booking anywhere else. The pool was gorgeous and everywhere was really clean. Breakfast was great with the BEST banana pancakes we've ever eaten. Perfect location in Ubud, right near the monkey forest and lots of lovely dining options. We felt really safe the entire time. I would definitely return to Sayong House and recommend to my friends. Clean & beautiful property, but lacked the amenities that we were expecting and not the quiet stay we were hoping for. It's ok important to note that the family who runs the place does live on the property with their family and young children and dogs. One of the adorable little dogs was barking at 5am and then the kids were crying and load at 6am each morning . No kettle and coffee cups in rooms as advertised. They did accommodate us and provide coffee in the morning, but did make comment and slight complaint that we were up too early when we asked for coffee at 7am. Actually , we were up at 6am.and waited for reasonable hour. If they provided the kettle in the room as expected, this would not be an issue for anyone. Not a big deal though. Considering the price, it still was a nice clean stay and worth it.

Was very disappointed with the property. The room was very drab and felt unclean. The bed sheet was dingy and had stains so I slept on top of the comforter. The pillowcase was dingy and didn't smell fresh so I put a towel over it. The window in the bathroom has a decorative metal grill but there is no actual glass or plexiglass over the window so the bathroom was literally open to the outside elements. Also the bathroom window is at ground level and it doesn't have a curtain so literally anyone walking by can see in the bathroom!!! The toilet seat was so old and dirty, it was worse than a public bathroom. The lighting in the bedroom and bathroom is very dim. The entry doors to the room only had a basic slide lock similiar to what would be on a cabinet door so I didn't feel safe at all. I put my luggage and a chair in front of the door in order to go to sleep. There is no tv in the room, not a big deal just letting you know. The property itself is down an alleyway so coming in at night was a bit uncomfortable.

The place is so beautiful. The courtyard is one of many many shrines in Bali. It’s quiet and leafy and right in the heart of ubud. I would definitely go there again.
