We didn’t get to use the available water “toys” (paddle boards, kayaks & canoe) due to weather but we are already talking about coming back for another stay. "A delightful island cottage with beautiful views of York River. The place was pet-friendly as our 2 fur-babies were welcomed. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the cottage, along with the sights and sounds of the local wildlife. The cottage was clean with comfortable furniture and well-equipped kitchen. The front porch and back deck were just perfect for sitting, enjoying the breezes, and watching the views of life on the river. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend renting this cottage. We do plan to try to return next year."

"This property was so lovely. The photos on VRBO do not do it justice. It felt so comfortable and just like home. There is plenty of all the creature comforts.It's also so close to Water Street and all the festivities, like market days on Saturday morning. You can catch the trolley in front of the cottage. It runs through main street down to the coastline. My husband and I will be back in June when our granddaughter graduates HS. Thank you for your hospitality."
