Birdie’s Place
Birdies place was an adorable country cottage. We spent most of our time, exploring the area and dining out. At the end of the day, when we found ourselves worn out, Birdie’s place was a welcome retreat. A very quiet, comfortable, and cozy place for relaxing and re-energizing. It is as advertised. And communication with Ray is very good. We highly recommend Birdie’s place for your Texas getaway. Glenn & Amy W.

Home away from home!
The minute I walked in the door…it felt like home! This property offers everything you need and more! Birdies is in an amazing location, nestled next to the longhorns and the donkeys! The cottage has everything you need for an amazing stay! Ray and Debby are the best hosts ever and are a text away if you need anything! We took in Countryfest while we were there and enjoyed the beautiful fall colors! Debby has the cottage in full fall decor and it is absolutely magical! Can’t wait to come back! Thank you Ray and Debby for sharing your beautiful cottage! Simply the best!!

The cottage was so cute. It was stocked with everything that we needed. Great detail with the decorating of the cottage so homey & comfortable. The outside space was my favorite part. So peaceful & quiet. I definitely want to go back and experience this cottage again.

Perfect stay with True Hospitality!!!!!
Our son needed eye surgery in Tyler and living 1.5 hrs away we sought out a place that was pretty close to the hospital for our early arrival. We travel very frequently, always staying in a STR (at least 6 times a year) and this was the first time we have had a host that went above and beyond . Ray was always available no matter what time it was. We were even surprised with fresh blueberry muffins, coffee, creamer, milk, cold bottle water and my sons favorite drink and snacks. The home was easy to find and the landscaping was beautiful. Everything is so clean inside and outside. I forgot my toothpaste and toothbrush and they had extras there. We enjoyed watching the longhorns, donkeys, and rabbits from the front and back porch. All the little special touches around the home from the table that Ray made, the scrapbook with the history of the home, places to eat nearby, and letters from previous guests, to labeling things with cute tags make your stay relaxing. Ray even checked on our son the day of surgery which was so very thoughtful of him. We will absolutely stay here again!!

Best Place EVER
This is our 4th stay at Birdie’s and we fall more in love with it each time! First, our hosts Ray and Debby are amazing! Very attentive to any need you would have! The cottage has everything you need and more. Great location for day trips to Fort Worth or Waco. One of the best things are the Longhorns and Donkeys that are in the field next to the cottage! What beautiful animals. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful cottage with us! Hope to see you again soon!

Great Stay in the Country!
We absolutely loved staying here! The hosts go above and beyond and provided amenities such as hot chocolate for the kids, muffins, fire wood, popcorn, etc. The cottage is cute and the location is quiet and peaceful. I'd highly recommend Birdies and I'd love to stay here again.
