Beyond expectations

Bill & Carlos were exceptional hosts. The “Tiger Room” was cozy, comfortable and we felt very much at home. Our walk around the ‘ranch’ was delightful. We would stay here again.

East Texas Gem

Our stay at the Tiger Room was quiet and peaceful. The owner, Bill Rathburn, gave us a tour of the beautiful property. His stories gave a glimpse into the opulent past life of his home. Very clean and had everything we needed for a weekend trip. Mineola is a historic little town with much to offer with shopping and dining. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

The property had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend stay, and it was clean, spacious, and conveniently located. We stayed in the Tiger room and enjoyed the eclectic tiger-themed decor. The host, Bill, was friendly and easy to communicate with when we checked in.

We had an amazing time at Bill’s place! The suite was beautiful and clean, and the property was so beautiful we decided to stay in and relax watching the sunset. Bill was so kind and made everything as easy as possible! We absolutely hope to stay here again on one of our Trade Days visits 😊

Makes You Feel Like Home

This property is great, very well maintained and the unit we are in is very nice. Bill and Carlos are amazing hosts and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. A very special place indeed, no complaints!

Great place

My girl called it heaven! They have rescued dogs! Cows, 2 horses and chickens on the property! Bill and Carlos are great! Our dogs loved the place as well! Zara took a bunch of pictures of our room, the Tiger room and will be leaving a review on Google.

Mr. Bill Is An Excellent Host!

Mr. Bill’ s place is extremely nice! Mr. Bill shares his fresh farm eggs with you and I thought that was extra special. His place is amazing and I will stay again. I highly recommend!!!

Escape to fresh air

It was a much-needed getaway. The property was easy to locate; and the property was immaculately kept. I enjoyed seeing beautiful well-fed horses and other livestock. The fresh eggs from free-range chickens delivered to my door was quite the added touch of classic ranch living. The best element of surprise was to run into an iconic figure in my home city.

A beautiful, well manicured, friendly, little piece of heaven. Mr. Bill was awesome and tended to everything we needed. His property was absolutely gorgeous, very clean and well taken care of. Fishing was good, also had little 4 legged friends along side. The dogs were friendly and playful. We cant wait to come back this summer. Thank You Mr. Bill

We had a wonderful time at Dogwood Ranch! The suite was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. Carlos was so helpful and even gave us fresh eggs for our breakfast! The property was outstanding! We enjoyed the beautiful flowers and fountains! I loved watching the baby calves frolic! Thank you, Bill, for a delightful stay!

Great place to stay. Just minutes from downtown shopping in Mineola.

Host very friendly, answered all our questions, provided detailed directions to local shops. Cottage was very comfortable, filled with lovely antiques. Beautiful fireplace built with stone making a lovely focal point for room. On a cold dreary night, there was plenty of firewood to enjoy a glass of wine watching the fire. Would highly recommend staying here, we plan to return in couple of months.

We were so happy to find a dog-friendly one bedroom apartment on a lovely piece of property for our stay. Everyone was so nice. We enjoyed hearing the chickens and cattle when we walked outside around the pond. We'd definitely stay there again.

Serene and quiet. Peaceful with animals and trees and a pond. Farm land.

Exactly what the doctor ordered for my husband and I. The ground lare beautiful with lots of land, Arabian horses, cows, a beautiful pond to relax by, and quiet. The amenities are very classy. Top dollar accommodations. Owner was gone but Juan went out of his way to help us have a comfortable stay :). We will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay! The property was beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. We stayed in the Barn apartment area. It was a little more secluded from the other areas. Bill was very kind and helpful! If ever in this area again, we will be coming back!

Bill was attentive to our every need, as was Carlos. Both men enhanced our stay. Bill was a gracious and warm host. He tells interesting stories, and is full of wisdom. He is a person you would enjoy speaking with for hours. We would highly recommend Bill and the ranch. It was beautiful and well maintained.
