Rocky Mount Motel near Hwy 220
10/10 Excellent
"Delightful owner operator. Attentive and pleasant "
Plenty of Water on the main channel. Perched on a bluff with breathtaking sunrise views over the lake, this remodeled 2BR/1BA log cabin offers memory-foam beds, well-stocked granite kitchen (farm-fresh eggs!), covered deck, stone fire pit, huge dock.

"A1 Experience"
Main Channel Lots of Water-All Decked Out — new lakefront log home on Smith Mountain Lake with a private hot tub, 50+ ft of wraparound deck, fire pit patio & easy lake access. Two full kitchens. One of 5 cabins on an 8-acre lakefront micro-resort.
8/10 Good
"The house is beautiful - the beds are comfy and the bathrooms are great. Lots of lake towels, great tvs, the porch is amazing! The fire pit and surrounding swings are beautiful. Some fire pit tools and some additional plates for larger families would be welcome additions . One element that was disappointing was the amount of construction going on throughout our stay. We were awakened almost every morning by crews moving stones and doing work to our house and to the next door house. I didn’t expect that to be going on. The very low level of the lake this summer is certainly no one’s fault, and the dock was wonderful. However the low water at the end of the cove with the kayaks left rusty pipes and metal exposed- it’s really not safe for moving around there. The owners were very responsive and communicative. Overall we felt this was a great house and great value and loved the lake. But it did feel like the property was a bit of a work in progress."

"The check in process was different as in we had to call to check in. There is no front desk like most hotels. Now that I know that I would stay there again. Room was clean. A peaceful and friendly environment and very close access to the Blue Ridge Parkway."

"Excellent front desk. Very pleasant and helpful. She made sure I found my room. Saw I was using a cane and ran to open the doors for me! Outstanding person!!! Stated if anything wrong or needed to let her know. Truely genuine!!!"
