This is our second year staying at this amazing home. We love the house and number of beds. Nine of us stayed. Excellent for us. Great hot tub. Love the sand on the beach, the water, water toys. We rented the pontoon as well. Our grandchildren absolutely loved everything! And said it was one of our best vacations together.

Wonderful stay!

We had a phenomenal week with extended family. Property is very clean and well stocked. Communication with host was superb. We enjoyed the clean lake and beach toys every day, including fishing, kayaking and boating. Location is ideal to Michigan Adventure, Lewis Animsl Farm, Muskegon and other lakeshore cities. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful stay on the lake

Lovely home with beautiful lake views. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking/paddle boarding, and just generally being outdoors. The house is well maintained and equipped, and there’s a pontoon available for rental as well (which we enjoyed).

Son's Wedding

Beautiful house and location. It was perfect for grandchildren to run off energy. Parents and grandparents enjoyed a little downtime upstairs while grandchildren had playtime downstairs. We loved it.

Beautiful place

From the moment that we walked in, I knew this was the place to be! The views were gorgeous, the home is very well furnished and the amenities are all there from the comforts of home. We plan on returning every year! The owners definitely put pride of ownership into this beautiful home.

Wonderful, relaxing vacation

We rent from VRBO every year, and I think this house was the cleanest we have been to! It was the perfect setting, right on the water with a Sandy beach. 10 of us fit comfortably. We spent most of the days playing in the water with the pontoon boat, kayaks, paddle boards, fished off the dock! Great week! So close to Michigan Adventure, we will be back!

Absolutely perfect

This house is amazing—has absolutely everything you need and the beach is everything you could want. We had kids from 2 to 10 in the house and they loved it all—the two year old could walk almost 20 feet out without concern as it’s very shallow. 10/10 and will for sure be back.

Family Getaway

The rental was very nice & clean. Supplied with everything we needed. Some negatives were that it was difficult to adjust the temperature & no shades on the lower level. The weather was terrible most of the week, so we were only able to use the pontoon boat a few times.

Family Retreat

From the moment we arrived it was like they had thought of everything!!! it was beautiful and the set up for 4 under 3 was great. We had a blast playing the sand and water with the kids. And at night enjoyed watching the stars and looking out at the lake from the hot tub. It was a great cabin , a great retreat, and much needed time by the lake. When there was any issues Kathy was very responsive and we had a phenomenal time. The place was so clean and every detail was thought of whether it was a rainy day or one that was bright and sunny fit for the beach.

A lake of your own...

Great rental house for a quiet Summer holiday week. Perfectly clean, well equipped, plenty of room inside and outside. We really enjoyed the beautiful lake : boating (great pontoon boat rental) or just sitting on the deck and admiring the view. Swimming in the lake was so super that we didn’t even use the hot tube. Very respectful and quiet neighbourhood. Communication with Kathy went fluently and deposit was quickly refunded.

We stayed here with a simple mentality

House was well stocked. Please be sure to read the detailed Welcome Packet/Book before making reservations. The Packet lists the strict guidelines to protect the owners property and your damage deposit. We didn’t use all amenities. Basically slept there. Cooled off in the evenings by opening the windows which was great as the a/c was not obtainable thru the Nest. Musty smell was helped by emptying the dehumidifier often and running air fresheners full time. Alexa concierge was not enabled to our knowledge. House is equipped with Ring doorbell and video camera. Lake was beautiful to look at. Nice parking. Quiet neighborhood.

Just Beachy was better than expectedd

We couldn't have been more happy with our stay. Everything lived up to the photos and descriptions and MORE. The beach was great, location was so nice, the house was so much cleaner and nicer than expected. When you rent or go to a "cottage", you expect a little bit older of a house with creaks, maybe old sinks and restrooms, dated furniture and all hand me down equipment in the house... that is NOT what this place is at all. It feels completely redone inside. The whole main floor looks and feels completely remodeled and up to date. the basement also feels that way but has a comforting cottage feel to it, without being old and dated at all. The location is great. The lake was the most underused lake I'd ever seen. The water was barely ever choppy and was perfect for the little ones to play in as well as the older grandparents to take a comfortable pontoon boat ride. I could go on and on about the cottage, beach, lake, and house and how great of a choice this was. The biggest thing that made a difference to me was the amenities. I bought so many things to take with us and needed almost none of it. The kitchen had so many nice, usable dishes and cooking supplies/utensils. Little things like a beach towel drying rack outside, a nice rack system to help take off the hot tub cover, blow up toys, kayaks, peddle boat, plenty of lighting, towels, bedding, board games.. just obviously a pro putting this all together. We had 0 problems and loved our time there. Thank you
