「My stay at trailhead was definitely interesting. This is a contactless hotel. When you arrive there’s no desk to check in. You are not given any room keys, instead you are emailed a code and a room number, and you go to the door of your room and punch that number in to enter- sort of like a reverse escape room situation. There’s no one staffing the hotel to answer questions. instead, they leave a phone number that you can call in the lobby. This in and of itself might not be a problem, except...

「Gauthier was a no frills type of space. The staff, though off site, was helpful with check in. The room was dated but clean. Parking was available on site. The location was convenient for my needs. The lake was right outside of the window. Had a peaceful stay」

「If you are looking for an inexpensive roof over your head and not much else, this is the place. Overall property is very dated 1970's - 80's and worn down. Lots of peeling paint and rust. The room was dimmly lit and the bed was just ok. The water was hot but didnt stay the same temperature, it would go slightly up or down in temperature while you were showering. The worst part was the drain did not drain very fast. So if you take any longer than 5 minutes in the shower you were ankle...
