「We arrived to the boat house, we were just thrilled. It is super clean and well set up. We had a fire in the fire pit every night. In the morning we watched the Geese come flying in, a few ducks and 3 Loons. We used the kayaks, canoe and corn hole set. The water is clean. We went to the Wild Center which is very close by as well. We used the nice grill to make our dinners at night. Highly recommend.」

High ceiling makes it feel roomy even though it is small, and ingenious layout has separate spaces for everything, which is nice if you want to rise early to see sunrise but your partner wants to sleep in. I loved it so much. Really dark when I arrived—if the exterior light had been on when I got there and maybe one interior one, this would have been a flawless stay. 「Beautiful property! Once you get there (it is a long, slow drive from the main road) the cabin is paradise. Well kept, view over the water, private dock, a small boathouse with everything you need, and the hosts are super responsive when questions arise. Highly recommend.」
