Room was dated with some marks on furnishings but overall Vagabond Inn is located in a very good location with plenty of restraunt options and convieniently located within the Historical Route 66 Drive attractions. The corridors were also big and roomy. Hotel reception was friendly and helpful, reception lounge was well decorated and extravagant.

Breakfast offerings are minimal (no fruit the day we were there). Significantly less expensive than other places the weekend we were there. Our room was acceptably clean, and it served our need. The staff was pleasant.

The hotel is a bit dated. The beds and linens were very nice..had a great sleep. The staff very accommodating. My cats were regarded as service animals, as I am totally deaf!!. The room was roomy but could have been a bit cleaner. We would stay again. Great stay for the cost.

I know many of the reviews state that the hotel is rundown. It could definitely use a refresh, but that being said, the rooms and linens were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Cleaning services were provided every other day. The breakfast was decent, although it could use some protein sources. It was a good combination of comfort, service, convenience, and value. I will definitely be keeping this hotel in mind for future stays.

We did not enjoy our time here. The property is very run down, rugs are stained. Peeling paint. The toilet kept clogging, we changed rooms twice before we found one acceptable. Only had two pillows, and one chair, so hard to be comfortable. The bed was good, the one (only)good thing. The TV remote only worked some of the time. The lights were too bright, shined in your eyes. The free breakfast was terrible. Everything was shabby. Had to buy clips at the store to pinch the curtains together since they would not close fully. They do not clean the room unless you tell them to. I have never had to request a room to be cleaned, normal is to come in daily to empty trash. Refill paper goods. At this place you must request cleaning or they do not come in
