Great Location and Views

The property is as advertised and we enjoyed our stay. The location is awesome, less than 2 miles to Sabino Canyon which was convenient for us. It's also very close to the grocery (Basha's), restaurants etc. Mountain views can be seen from the balcony. A few things to note: - Calling it a 2 bedroom, with sleeping for 5 is awfully generous. Would work best for a family with 1 younger child as the 2nd bedroom is just an uncomfortable twin size bed. There is also no drawer space in bedroom 2. - We couldn't locate any pool towels for use - There were no activities in the unit (ie deck of cards, games, puzzles) so we did buy a puzzle and left for the next guests to enjoy! - The unit is located right above the pool which was nice, but just beware that there are often people/kids in the pool later into the evening. It was a heavy spring break time so maybe not as big of a deal other times of the year or those who aren't on east coast time like we were - There is no smart TV (unless it was so smart that we couldn't figure it out!), not a deal breaker for us but with the upgrades to the unit would have assumed you could have logged into your own account for things like Netflix etc. It may have been available on the DVD player but we were not able to get that to work Overall we did enjoy our stay here but wanted to be sure to share some of the things one off things!

Great Location. Lovely unit and Complex

Just stayed 18 nights. Condo great. View of the pool. Quiet area. Walking distance to restaurants and some shopping. Loved proximity to Sabino Canyon and many golf options within 30 minutes. Would stay again!

Great place to enjoy Tuscon!

Works well for two people. Deck faced east for direct morning sun rising over the mountains, and same mountains turned brilliant red at sunset. Pool, spa and grill easily accessed from this unit. Minor downside was the bedroom faced the pool and the pool deck lights were on all night. Kitchen could use a few more forks.

Beautiful and serene rental

Very clean and attractive rental in the foothills. Pool and hot tub. Fully equipped kitchen. Clients should know that the rental is on the second floor. The property manager should fix the shower control valve, which is not working.

Unimpressive. Lack luster. Below par. Dirty. Cold showers. CHEAP. Not worth the money..

Upon arrival at 6:30pm, after a very long travel day, we found the condo dirty. After leaving several voice messages a cleaning duo arrived to clean. That took 2.5 hours out of our stay. And we had to finish the laundry to be able to make the sofa bed(which was impossible to sleep on). The showers were room temp at best, usually cold. Our reservation was for 3 nights & 4 people; we were left 4 coffee filters, one roll of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, and zero laundry soap; all other condo's we've ever stayed in (and there have been many), provide all of these things in quantity along w/ basics like S&P, condiments. Save yourself the trouble and don't stay at this property or any other managed by this company.

Great location, just a few items....

Great location, close to fantastic golf at Ventana Canyon. Easy access to grocery shopping, and 3 fun restaurants ( Giva Italian, El Charro Mexican and Flying V). Negatives included coffee table in living room was not fully assembled, and tipped easily. Couldn't find any tools to tighten bolts underneath. Internet issues. And shower should have had instructions on how to use. We had never seen on/off controls like this one. You could see others had not as well, many tried to "pull lever on" causing loose control. Deck was fun, and over looked a great pool area...overall, price was correct, and condo clean.

House Hunting

Rental was just as advertised. Located in a nice area, easy access to everything. Apartment was clean and well taken care of. There was an issue with the Television Cable provider but was addressed and rectified by the property Manager. She responded and communicated very good during that process. The shower control knob needs replacing. Nice place, we would stay again

Beautiful Location

This is a wonderful place in the Catalina Foothills and the views of the Catalinas are amazing. I’ve spent two summers in Tucson and the Catalina Foothills are the only neighborhood I would recommend staying in. The included pictures are accurate to the unit and would highly recommend this unit to anyone interested. My only complaint was as an extended stay I would have liked to have had an additional method of contacting the property manager outside of VRBO chat. I loved spending the summer here and would definitely consider staying in this unit again if I was in Tucson.

Great and Peaceful Condo

We really enjoyed our week at this condo. Everything was very clean and organized. The balcony was really one of our favorite places to relax - it was large, and had a great view! Tucson was beautiful and this condo was at a great location to get around and enjoy everything! We will be back!!

Great location

The place was very comfortable for my wife and me. It’s in a great area, very close to Sabino Canyon National Monument and a nice trail called Ventana Canyon trail. Lots of shopping and restaurants are a half mile away. We enjoyed the view of the mountains from the deck and from other parts of the complex when we took evening walks. The pool and hot tub are open but you need to reserve a slot in advance because of COVID-19.

Dream Retreat

This property is exceptional! Anita was so helpful with everything and answered our questions right away. Check in process made easy. Loved everything about this place. Condo was very clean and comfortable. You can view pool from balcony which is very nice! Pool was great. Very good restaurants and local grocery store close by. If/When my husband and I come back to the Tuscon area, this place will be our number one place to stay. Love, love, love.

Clean and comfortable

Our unit was cozy and comfortable and were happy for the most part. The king bed was very comfortable and this particular unit was just steps away from the pool and barbecue.

Absolute Wonderful Stay

In a great location, close to restaurants shopping etc. Condo was well appointed and most everything we needed was right there for us. Only some small problems -- deck was not in a sunny spot and didn't have a nice view and the overhead light in the MBR didn't work.

sabino canyon retreat

Very well appointed, clean newish property with comfortable spacious rooms. The kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom very nice except tub/shower a little dated. The couch sitting area was nice and the balcony/patio overlooking the heated pool and hot tub was a plus. Being nature lovers we were close to great desert hiking and the views were quite wonderful especially from the pool. The area is very upscale, a plethora of restaurants and shops within easy travel distance. So glad were were not in metro Tucson.
