「The property suited our needs being ideally situated, and providing comfortable accommodation. The pub had a good atmosphere with reasonably priced food., and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, during our stay housekeeping was haphazard. We had to ask for clean towels and the bed wad only ever made up once during a seven night stay. 「The Waterwheel Inn was exceptional. We had a garden suite which opened straight out onto the amazing gardens and a small double room. Both were decorated nicely and kept clean. Breakfast was served in the lovely conservatory and was excellent with good choices and nice touches like home-made jams and granola. We ate in the restaurant for dinner several times and had great food every time. Staff were helpful whilst being unobtrusive. Our only suggestion is to advertise the vegan options better as...

「Charlestown was lovely but Room 4 we was allocated was way too small it was Ok for a night or two but would try the pier if visiting again as didn’t think the cost matched the room size definitely would not want a week as way too small. 「An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months」

「This pub was a great stop for us following a day of walking the SWCP. Very peaceful even though it is a pub. It is approximately 1 mile from Perranunthnoe, and SWCP. Bus 2 runs from right outside so ideal for connections to Penzance and Porthleven. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.」
