" This was my husband and my first time visiting Shelter Island and I feel lucky that my stay was at the House of ChaseCreek. Bill was excellent in helping us navigate our stay on the Island which made for an enjoyable experience. The house was charming , very clean , and had easy access to the town restaurant s, and Ferry. "Nice location and good for staying with families. The rooms could have been a little cleaner and updated. Hotel communication was excellent for checking in. "

"Another amazing stay, even during a nor’easter. The staff did their best to still make the stay as enjoyable as it could have been with most things closed in the area. They were also kind enough to put us in the same room we had last time, which is our favorite thing about the Soundview and our trips out east. The view from our deck and the cute small things they have for dogs will keep us coming back. Thank you for another memorable trip. "

"My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway and loved our experience! The location was perfect - located near restaurants, shops, and the beach - and the room was clean and charming. We will definitely be back!"

"From the friendly check in with Mario to the check out everything was top class .The private bar is a really special touch and Dan was a great bar tender. The roof top is very nice to relax on with a glass of wine and the fire pit lit. Rooms are comfortable and spotless. There is a galley on each floor where they have coffee water and soda free all day plus fresh croissants in the morning .Highly recommend this hotel "
"Our hosts made all of us feel so welcomed and comfortable. The home was clean, well appointed ( not fancy) and perfect for our family gathering for our son’s wedding. And our hosts even had a solution when one of our party arrived without his tuxedo jacket. "
Renovated and Spacious Summer Home with Water View on Picturesque Island.
10/10 Excellent
"We throughly enjoyed our stay at Kate’s house in Shelter Island. It was just what we needed while we were in town for a wedding. Plenty of space & bathrooms. "
"What a very special place this is. Wilfred and Vida are truly brilliant hosts. When we arrived they sat with us and had a lovely chat about the house and the area, recommended places to eat and provided lots of local intelligence. Tea and coffee is served in the room at 8am followed by a very generous and delicious breakfast. The two of them are a totally charming couple with their great sense of humour, stories and kindness They could give lessons on what true hospitality should be.
