Hotel Esplanade Zagreb

"As a writer, I wanted to immerse my self in the experience of staying here. It really did exceed my expectations. The only two things that were pitfalls were I tried to make a reservation at their restaurant and they said it was booked out for a private dinner but when I went down stairs I saw multiple guests in the restaurant and empty tables available. The second thing was I paid for a merc e-class to pick me up from the hotel to the airport and a merc van collected me. I wouldn’t complain usually however if I’m paying for a 5 star service, I’d like to receive it. If these two things didn’t happen I would say this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. I will try it again next year 100%"

"Everyone can hear everything coming from the bathroom… if you know what I mean. TV also doesn’t really work when you try to connect. The lighting and switches is kind of annoying, but a fun game to play nonetheless.."

"It may not be the most modern hotel but I had a great stay at Sheraton Zagreb. Very easy to walk or get Ubers everywhere. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit run down. The hotel features the best hotel gym I’ve ever been to, this gym actually has a monthly membership (free for hotel guests) so it’s fully equipped with all kinds of machines. You can even take reformer Pilates classes. The spa is very nice too. I enjoyed the huge breakfast buffet with so many different options. The Italian restaurant Tomassino is also fab."
