"Arrived and no one had any idea which tent we were supposed to be in. Originally taken to one that had no made beds, litter, broken chairs and an inflatable dirty lazy spa (advised as a hot tub). Then got told to my relief wasn’t our tent. Instead we were taken to another tent that was transparent in a small field squished in with another 5-6 tents and had a dirty deflated paddling pool in the centre. "Good hotel if a bit dated. No fridge or air conditioner in room which during this spell of hot weather could have been very beneficial. When I requested a room with air con we were told they didn’t have any but were moved to a larger room on request. No issues or additional cost for the change."

"Comfortable room, really lovely lady checked me in. It was noisy at closing time (people outside) but that's out of the hotel's control - the room was above a pub, so to be expected. Clean, nice cup of tea, lovely shower - it was a comfortable room and I will definitely book again for future trips."

"Absolutely beautiful outside space, a well kept garden with superb views over the Menai Strait. Room was lovely, very clean and well maintained; the bed was comfortable and we had a great balcony (again, with views over the Strait). The shower was ok, just about warm enough. The staff were friendly and the service was very good (special mention to Nathan, whether first thing at breakfast or serving us at the bar, unfailingly polite and on the ball). We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning."
