They provided us with a triple room so we could have a double bed and helped make our stay very comfortable. The breakfast was very good with fresh fried eggs and a good selection of breads and other items. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a clean comfortable room in a smaller setting. "

"The Quinta da Moita is out of the way of the Douro Valley but well worth the detour. I stayed there 3 nights on a solo trip. The owners are fantastic, very sweet. The place is perfect for quiet respite, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast! I recommend to anyone for solo stay or couple gateaway! Their wines are great too! Just make sure to have food for dinner if you want to relax for the evening as everything is pretty far. But the drive is gorgeous and fun! "

"Fantastic location, friendly staff, great food. If the Serenity concept is to work, the management has to decide: either an adults-only hotel or a separate playground for children. This needs to be improved, as the children otherwise are always loud with everyone."
