Amazing!

Gorgeous boutique hotel in the center of town. I loved the bathroom and it's huge claw tub. The breakfast was generous and tasty. My only complaint was the lack of air conditioning. Although the area did not get very hot during our stay (max was 70f), if you run hot at night this may be uncomfortable. We did have a fan in our room. The staff and locating were excellent. There's a very nice spa on site that we did not use.

We had a wonderful stay at the Scotsman in early August. The gentleman in the beautiful green plaid suit who greeted us at the door was so lovely. He took the time to tell us about Edinburgh and gave us a map and directions to some sights that we inquired about. During our stay, we received several calls from the wonderful folks at the front desk checking to make sure everything was good with us, the hotel and our room. Our room was HUGE! Although we had a room facing the street and the bridge, it was very quiet. The cleaning folks kept our room and the hallways immaculate. If we are ever back in Edinburgh, we will be staying at the Scotsman!
