"It wasthe second time that we spent our summer holiday in this house. We enjoyed the silence, the space of the beautiful house, the kitchen and the large table which gave in the evening a nostalgic realm."

"The apartment is nice, light and clean. It has all the basic amenities and is close to the beach. Seems a bit tight for four people, but there were only the two of us and that was perfectly fine. Everything was as described and the hosts are very friendly (and speak English very well)."

"Wonderful stay at the Villa, we loved it. It's clean, modern and yet in keeping with an older property, with its position on the edge of town easily a short 7 minute walk to local restaurants and beach. Beautiful outdoor space to enjoy and great location for access to the local areas central to the Normandy beaches. Loved it, thank you to all the friendly staff. "

"Absolutely lovely B&B! A really nice building, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. It has a spacious garden, a small outdoor pool, and a communal dining/sitting room, so plenty of places to relax in addition to your own room. Lovely and quiet, situated just outside of Arromanches but within very easy walking distance of the town and the beaches. Very generous breakfast, and there is also an evening dinner option if you book in advance, which was delicious as well as excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again!"

1 night stay in Ibis Styles, Caen

"Booked this place as a backup, just in case I couldn't make it to the ferry in time. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help bridge the language barrier. (I don't know much French, they didn't know much English). Once everything was understood, my friend and I took the keys are were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms. Coffee making facilities, air conditioning and a king size bed. There are a number of eateries and even a cinema just around the corner from the hotel and it's only a couple of minutes walk from the train station. For a last minute stay, there was nothing more I could have asked for. "
