"The bed here was very comfortable and much better than numerous Travelodges we've stayed in recently. Despite it being a twin turned into a double the join wasn't very noticeable and the mattress was very comfortable. The only gripe for me was the shower head did look aged and the drain in the wet room didn't clear the floor quickly enough so you're stood in 2inches of water by the time you've finished but grab bars in all the right places. As a wheelchair user I found everything very accessible and would stay again. You do need to go into the pub for check in and handing the key back. We didn't eat there but did plan to, maybe next time! "

"Close to town and close to the rail (free parking). Easy assess to all of Scotland within driving distance. It was easy to park in the street by the park. The house was a perfect place for our week’s stay in Scotland. We visited Edinburgh, Dunfermline town, St. Andrews, Glengoyne, Aberfeldy & other distilleries. We even drove to Fort Williams. The house is on a trafficked road, but that didn’t bother us at all. We had a lovely stay and would recommend this place to the adventurous couple or family. "

"Entry was with a code on an outdoor gate, main building entrance and unit front door making it feel very safe. There were 3 bedrooms all with TVs, great comfortable beds and 2 nice bathrooms. The water pressure was great and the showers were very good. The living area was well planned with a big screen TV, 2 nice couches, a large dining table, fully equipped kitchen and french doors out to a very nice garden. The town of Dunfermline gave us a great immersion into the Scottish culture and history. It had plenty of necessary resources within walking distance of the unit including several money exchanges, a large grocery-a block away, a nice main street (high street) with shops, restaurants, pubs, coffee and cake shops, travel agencies, hair and nail salons, barber shops, etc. The train station is several blocks, but there are several bus options to get there and a main bus station is very close. It was a great place to stay during the high season of Edinburgh, it was easy to get to the Edinburgh events by train and offered us a much appreciated sanctuary away from those crowds, yet didn't lack the action we were looking for. The only issue was that Uber or Lyft do not run in town, only private Taxis which were a bit challenging. So if walking is an issue, I suggest renting a car. There is ample park and ride spots at the train stations to get to the city, but everywhere is hilly and cobblestone so just a short walk can be a workout. "

"The property was lovely. Check in and communication was great. Such a thoughtful host! We had a great time in Dunfermline and the surrounding area. With having young kids, it was wonderful being so close to the Glen. Can't wait to visit again!"

"Wonderful short stay at Barnet House. Easy check-in with a code upon entry system. The unit had a full kitchen with high quality, brand new amenities including pots and pans, coffee maker, utensils and nice ceramics too. The unit would be have been even better if there was a least one shelf to put away groceries and a place to hang clothes or jackets, even a few hooks on the wall would make a huge difference if we wanted to stay longer than a few nights. The location can‘t be beat. All the local sites are within walking distance and just steps away from a world of shopping and dining opportunities. Would definitely return if we‘re in the area again. "

"I have stayed in scores of VRBO properties and this one ranks right at the top. Tracy is a top notch host and the property is perfect.There is not one thing that I would change.If I ever make my way back to Edinburgh, I will be staying at Reid's Corner for sure. "
