"i was disappointed on many levels during my stay. the staff that i came across was very helpful and polite except the young african american at the front desk. after giving a deposit i was not able to view the room i would be getting in a few days. once i arrived the day of my stay i incurred additional charges that was not revealed upon purchase, also the room that i was issued was not what was advertised, it was not clean, the stove and the floors was dirty . i would be a contribution to humanity if moving forward your upfront with your guest."

"Great location if visiting any of the Sports venues or the Peacock Theatre. Lots of restaurants within a few blocks too, used the bikes and scooters to get around (highly recommend) absolutely blast. Hotel is spotless and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are specious and modern. Will stay here again.."

"Classy and elegant, and if you are here to learn about and experience LA, it’s hard to beat this historic venue. If you look closely you can notice a few things frayed around the edges, but this is an exceptional place with consistently first rate staff people who seem to take pride in where they work. Location is superb for walking to lots of great DTLA sites and well served by Metro lines to go elsewhere easily, safely, and inexpensively. A place like seriously needs a concierge given its location, and room service into the wee hours also a surprising for this kind of place. Live jazz in the very classy bar Thursdays, excellent cocktails although overpriced. "
