If you look closely you can notice a few things frayed around the edges, but this is an exceptional place with consistently first rate staff people who seem to take pride in where they work. Location is superb for walking to lots of great DTLA sites and well served by Metro lines to go elsewhere easily, safely, and inexpensively. A place like seriously needs a concierge given its location, and room service into the wee hours also a surprising for this kind of place. Live jazz in the very classy bar Thursdays, excellent cocktails although overpriced. "

"This was the best hotel I’ve stayed in quite a while. Staff was so friendly, room was clean and comfortable, and there were so many things to do and see in the location it was at. We only stayed one night, so we didn’t bring our swimsuits, which was too bad because the pool looked awesome. I will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Los Angeles. "
