Cinque giorni da ricordare

Una esperienza molto bella. La struttura è veramente suggestiva e affascinante, essendo un vero castello che ha le sue origini nel 1500. Conserva molte delle sue caratteristiche originali; le zone destinate agli ospiti sono rifinite in maniera lussuosa; l'ambiente è tranquillo e non affollato. A livello puramente personale segnalo che la camera a noi assegnata è dotata di bagno, molto grande, ma privo di doccia; vi è una ottima vasca da idromassaggio ma, ripeto, avrei gradito un box doccia. Molto bello l'ampio cortile interno, dove vengono servite le colazioni e dove si può sedere, sorseggiare un aperitivo, leggere un libro o conversare in tranquillità. Il servizio è buono e il personale cordiale e amichevole. Una nota particolare la merita il proprietario, l'uomo che ha il merito di avere salvato questo castello dalla decadenza: se avete modo di incontrarlo troverete una persona affabile e gentile con la quale è veramente piacevole e interessante scambiare qualche parola. L'ubicazione è strategica, in quanto il paese di Torre Santa Susanna si trova equidistante dai mari Ionio e Adriatico, quindi non è difficile raggiungere molte delle più belle località marine del Salento. E' altresì vicino a Lecce e molte località interessanti della Puglia non sono troppo distanti: anche se le strade provinciali e conunali non consentono velocità elevate. Per mia moglie e me, che conosciamo piuttosto bene la Puglia da tanti anni, una delle più belle esperienze vissute.

Arrivati al castello alle ore 22..dopo una lunga giornata di mare.. la nostra prenotazione effettuata su expedia ( con tanto di conferma mail) non risultava ai gestori, i quali hanno semplicemente risposto: “posto non c’è ed expedia ha sbagliato perché noi camere disponibili non ne abbiamo” facendoci trovare in piena serata senza un posto dove alloggiare

Sea views from the balcony

Beautiful villa. Receptionist brilliant showed us where to buy a beer locally and booked us a table at the nicest restaurant only a stroll a long the sea front. Great breakfast. Wifi in annex rooms no great but who needs wifi when you are asleep?

Castle for a King or Queen

The Hotel is beautiful and luxurious. The rooms are roomy and the bathrooms are very large. The jacuzzi tub was wonderful after a day of walking. The rooms are very quiet and the staff very attentive. The town square is right out the front door and there are restaurant around every corner and one right in the hotel.

Una notte al castello

Ottima struttura con sole 5 camere tutte bellissime.si tratta di una dimora storica sulla piazza centrale del paese. Noi eravamo nella suite Eleonora, spaziosa e confortevole pulita ed elegante.il paesino che é molto piccolo é un ottima base per le zone piu turistiche sulla costa.

Un soggiorno sorprendente

Pochi km. da Oria, questo castello ristrutturato e trasformato in b&b, offre ai turisti il massimo dei servizi ad un prezzo onesto: accoglienza, pulizia e massima disponibilità. Merita veramente di essere preso in considerazione, comodo per raggiungere Lecce e le spiagge distano mezz'ora d'auto.

ma che bel castello

In verità la mia meta era Mesagne. Dopo aver cercato a lungo tra gli alberghi di Brindisi e Mesagne, senza aver trovato niente di particolrmente interessante sono "cascato" nel sito di questo posto. Le foto sono incantevoli, forse troppo, perchè se il castello è interessante e piacevole i dintorni sono forse meno attraenti ma, credo, tipici della zona. Era la mia prima volta nella zona che cercherò di conoscere meglio. L'albergo è senza dubbio imponente e le stanze sono grandi, ben tenute, pulite. Il letto comodo e importante. L'accoglienza è più che buona e l'idea di essere atteso è sempre gratificante. Mi dicevano che molti scelgono questo albergo perchè è a metà tra i due mari. Ho solo una piccola critica, insignificante, ma magari utile : è tutto perfetto e speciale, ma manca quel piccolo tocco di "calore" che renderebbe il tutto perfetto. Il mio consiglio è comunque, se dovete andare nelle vicinanze, di non perdervi una notte al castello.

Un vecchio castello recentemente ristrutturato situato al centro della cittadina di Torre santa Susanna,località ottima per esxcursioni e giornate al mare sullo Ionio e sull'Adriatico. Cordialità, gentilezza e prtofessionalità del personale. Sala colazione e ristorante poco illuminato.

Struttura a metà via tra Adriatico e Ionio

Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana in questo castello. Se pur non vicino al mare ci ha permesso di visitare il Salento in largo e in lungo. Si raggiunge comodamente Ostuni, Lecce, Otranto fino ad arrivare alla punta più estrema della Puglia. Allo stesso modo si può arrivare a Taranto e da li fino a Gallipoli per tuffarsi nelle meravigliose acque salentine. Il castello al suo interno ha una pizzeria, comoda per chi non vuole allontanarsi troppo la sera e una vasca idromassaggio da sfruttare tutti i giorni godendosi un tramondo da favola. I proprietari della struttura sono gentilissimi e disposti a consigli su cosa visitare.....quindi cosa aggiungere altro.....settimana da favola e da principi!!!!!!!!!

Magnifique château du XV siècle entièrement rénové

Ce château du XVe siècle a été rénové par une famille il y a quelques années à peine. Vous serez accueillis par l'un des fils du propriétaire qui gèrent avec passion cette belle demeure. Les chambres sont bien décorées et très spacieuses, tout comme les salles de bains.

Angenehm, das Hotel ist wunderschön, 3 Zimmer waren teilweise belegt, teilweise waren wir im Castello allein. Leider die Pizzaria gesperrt wegen Renovierung. der Raumersatz ist Frühstücksraum. Seeeehr freundlich!

Renovated and Updated Ancient Castle

A beautiful facility. Big rooms, perfect bed, very clean, free parking and wifi. Not many places you stay in also have a chapel that dates from the 1500! Breakfast (included) was usual continental fare, simple and filling. Staff are exceedingly helpful. The castle courtyard has been turned into a wonderful spot for evening drinks and relaxing, unfortunately the weather did not allow us to do that. The decor and sense of history are amazing, and the roof top view fabulous. Strong recommendation if you are anywhere nearby you go out of your way to stay. The negatives. Torre San Susanna is an old out of the way town, that from what we saw has no real 'tourist' attractions. We did not find alternatives to the hotel for dinner. But if you like pizza, the castle has its own pizzeria, and it is good pizza. But there is only pizza. They have a few video lottery terminals that can get loud in the dinning area, but will never disturb the rooms. But, the absolute worst thing is the lack of a sign. Without a carabinieri volunteer riding shot gun we never would have found it. Even the volunteer had trouble!

Das goldene Zimmer

Ein schönes, altes Schloss mitten im Städchen. Sehr freundliche Leute. Fast alles im Hotel ist mit viel Gold dekoriert. Auch das riesige Zimmer (Deckenhöhe ca. 7m!) mit einem üppigem, goldigem Bett..... Alles perfekt sauber. Sehr ruhig in der Nacht. Angenehm auch der Parkplatz im Innenhof.

Delightful hotel, obviously maintained by very caring owners. We arrived late, after midnight, but the staff were there to give us a very friendly welcome. Rooms are to a very high standard. Will definitely stay again.
