"We visited Santa Monica for our son's graduation @USC. Service was excellent and the room was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was bit small but we did not mind at all, the shower stall was spacious. The Penthouse restaurant served excellent food, we ate there thrice and enjoyed each time. Valet parking is $55 a night, typical in the area and we expected that. The hotel room is high tech with a in-room iPad that is convenient to look up amenities. The mini-bar is very well-stocked, is expensive as in most hotels of this class and is super sensitive - please beware. If you remove any item for 60 seconds, you get charged. We got charged for 5 items mistakenly which pissed me off a bit (this part of the hotel experience was totally impersonal unlike everything else we enjoyed so much), but the checkout person took care of it promptly."

"Great staff, fair cost, my only criticism is the antiquated technology in the rooms - the tv, plugs, radio etc, very dated. Also, I would be nice if food and drinks were available more often at the pool, especially on hot days. Still, great value, caring staff and my go to in K Town when I’m visiting "

"Excellent quality for price, premises are in ok condition, don’t expect top of the line room. I was able to sleep perfectly sound. No trouble with AC, bathroom. Definitely will recommend. Shuttle included with room, comes and goes every 20-30 mins. Really helpful driver."
