Good breakfast, host was helpful, room and property looking very tired. , Parking was not straight forward, if your lucky you can park outside, otherwise parking at rear of property very very tight spaces overall a pleasent enough stay.

Great place to stay!

Adrian welcomed us, gave us a quick run down of everything as we were tired. Forgot to mention that we needed to order breakfast but reserved enough for all of us to have something the next day. Room was clean, well presented had plenty for us like 3 cups as we were in a family room. Had a ensuit shower. Wardrobe to hand out clothes, tv, fridge and a blanket on each bed. Room was a good size and perfect for 3 adults. Breakfast was amazing, home cooked English breakfast and nothing was too much for Adrian who dose everything from cooking, cleaning and general running of the b and b! Friendly and would defiantly recommend! Thanks again!

Excellent family break

Excellent guesthouse with a warm welcome the room was very clean and kept to a high standard. The breakfast in the morning was excellent the choice was amazing and adrian was the only one who saw us but he had such a kind heart and was respectful. He told us about some interesting facts about the area and he also had booklets on places to visit in the entrance which was handy. Free car parking around the back of hotel which was gd 2 and its in a great area 2 so thanks a lot

Ok stay but property needs seriously updating.

Parking is on the street but is very limited as it's always very busy around there. Guesthouse from the outside looks nice. We were welcomed by the owner and shown our room. The room needs some serious updating...the wallpaper was coming away from the walls, the window was not safe as it was a sash window and propped open with a block of wood. If the wood had fallen out or been knocked, the window would have slammed shut, either smashing the window or breaking fingers. The bathroom was small and needs updating. The grouting/sealant in the shower had black bits on and some of the wall stickers were peeling off. The room had a fridge which was good and the bed was comfy. One of the major disappointments was breakfast on our last morning. We were told when we initally arrived that we only needed to let the owner know if we wanted a hot breakfast/tea/coffee etc each morning. The last morning we went down for breakfast just so we could have juice and a pastry. We were told when we got to the breakfast room that he didn't know we were coming down for breakfast and that he had people coming down imminently for breakfast that would take up all the tables. We sat down and started eating a pastry and were watched the entire time then 2 minutes later were told he would need the table and we would have to finish our breakfast in our room! Did not think this was professional at all and this spoilt the last morning. There should be enough room for all guests for breakfast regardless.

Keine Ahnung warum diese Unterkunft eine hohe Bewertung bei der Sauberkeit hat. Es war sowohl das Bad als auch die Gläser etc. schlecht geputzt. Handtücher und Bettwäsche war zwar (hoffentlich) gewaschen, hatten aber Restflecken. Sowas gehört ausgetauscht.

good accommodation.

one side of bed too narrow,but was quite comfortable and mini fridge was a great idea.Shower was nice and big and bathroom very clean.Marie and Adrian was excellent hosts and the breakfast was outstanding.Would certainly book there again.

What went wrong Hotels.com

Booked through Hotels.com But the Guest home was shut luckily for me they peut me up, (Hotels.com at fault) As for accommodation very good and friendly staff.

Short stayers

A brief stay but Marie made us very welcome. Room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was most enjoyable and plentiful. As guesthouses go would definitely recommend it.

Great place to visit

Great B&B. Very friendly, rooms are adequate size, and they all have a mini fridge. Nice big soft, bath towels and toiletries provided. Absolutely excellent breakfast. Great location for all the amenities, and always happy to offer information for places to visit
