「An extremely quick and friendly welcome and check in, especially as we arrived around 10:30pm after a busy day out and about. Room was large and welcoming, nicely decorated and with three large opening windows for us to control air to the room and a required temperature. Breakfast was self serve and there was a good enough choice and it was a great start / set up for the day. 「The room was very difficult to find. The floors of the hotel were like a maze. You had to go to the second floor to come back up the corridor to get to the first floor. We got lost and took us a while to find the room. The receptionist did say it was confusing to find, so they are aware of it, would be helpful if they had someone to take you to your room as its not straight forward. 「This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating...

The "B&B" is misleading, as there was no breakfast, just tea and biscuits in the room. The tiniest room I've ever seen, but adequate for one thin person. The bathroom sink plumbing had no mixer. 「Lovely hotel, beautiful inside. staff were really helpful and friendly. Beautiful location. The only things that let it down, was the annexe we stayed in, could of done with a bit of updating and an iron. But other than that i would advise staying in one of the rooms inside the hotel. We had a nice relaxing stay」

「I loved staying at The Beaches because everything was perfect, the owners were on hand to do breakfast every morning which wasn't limited to either a full English or just cereals (as in some B&B's that I've stayed in), they were happy to be of any help that you needed. 「We always stay at the Royal Hotel if we are in WSM for the night. In terms of being in a central location it can't be beaten. It's a traditional and spacious hotel. The staff always go above and beyond to assist you. It's a beautiful, old building. We had a twin room and the bathroom was larger than my living room. Wonderful sea views. I miss the view already! Very highly recommended. Haven't tried the food sadly but it looks delicious!」
