Great sized apartment

Good size, 3 sleeping rooms, but it's close to Higashi Shinjuku, not the main Shinjuku station, however it still gives great access to subway

Beautiful house but issues with check-in

The house is as advertised, clean, modern and beautiful. The reason for the three star ratings are 2. First the address provided was not accurate. It took us 100 yards/meters from the property where the taxi left us with all our luggage and under the rain. It was only thanks to the help of kind passerby who got on the phone with the host that we found the place. When we arrived the house was freezing cold, and there were no instructions in English for anything. Not what you want after a 13 hour flight. In comparison, the Kyoto apartment had spot on check in instructions and everything labeled and explained in English. So it is not too much to ask!

Great place in Tokyo

We loved this place. Very close to train station, nice neighborhood, walking distance to grocery stores. The place is set up well for a small family. Communication prior was great and getting into the place was easy.

Stove

The stove wasn’t working. We spent a lot of money to buy ingredients to make food in the house when we got there but we couldn’t make the stove to work. We asked the host to send us the instructions but still wasn’t working. We had to through away all the ingredients we purchased and we lost all the money we spent for them. The host should know about this and fixed it before we got there or notified us so we didn’t spend hundred of dollars to purchase the material. Other than this we had no problem and we enjoyed our stay there.
