"About a 12 minute walk from Morioka station. Clean, comfortable, and quiet rooms. The onsen was great and the free ramen at 9:30pm and popsicles, yakult and other goodies were a nice treat. No need to bring pajamas because the ones they provide are soft and comfortable. "

"The Hotel Grand Bach in Sendai is centrally located with an easy walk to Sendai Station. Our room was on the small side but not abnormal for hotel rooms in Japan and the queen bed was comfortable. The staff was gracious and very helpful in setting up the shipping of our luggage to Tokyo. While the hotel doesn't have an arrangement with any parking garage if you're renting a car there is an independent parking garage right behind the hotel. "
