Beautiful resort. Attentive Staff. Picturesque setting. Good Food. Overall - a great experience. The reason for 3 stars is they charged one couple in our group 80eu PER NIGHT for a pack and play (folding crib) for their infant. Most hotels provide this for free or 5-10Eu. For that price, they could provide a brand new one each night and let them take it home. That's our only complaint, otherwise it was a nice place to stay.

The property and the surrounding countryside were breathtaking. The staff was helpful & courteous. Loved our room & its view of Todi in the distance. Well located for day trips. Meals were delicious.

Not a 5-star property

The restaurant staff was very polite and efficient, and the food was quite good. However, the hotel is outdated and is far from being a 5-star property as advertised. The room smelled of humidity and the heating system over-heated the room and made the same noise every 20 mins that we heard even with earplugs. The decor is probably from the 80’s and would need a major renovation.

Peaceful great service

Great stay at the Relais Todini. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Great breakfast in a very nice room with views of the hills and pool. After long days of touring, we had dinner there several evenings, food was very good. We were leaving very early in the morning, they were kind enough to set up a breakfast for our group by 4 am. That is the kind of attention that they gave us. It is a very peaceful, beautiful area, a great place to get away to.

1 night retreat

We stayed there for one night as a bit of a relax so we didn't explore the local area. The setting and views are superb and the staff very friendly and professional. The room was of a high quality and in keeping with the rest of the property. The restaurant is a business in it's own right so other locals came there in the evening to dine and enjoy the views. Reasonably expensive and not a huge variety of dishes so worth considering if there are children staying.

If in Umbria, Stay Here

Relais Todini is a little out of the way, but it's worth the stay. The property is beautiful; it is in the midst of a winery and on top of a hill, so the vistas are wonderful. The staff is friendly, although it appears that there has been some turnover. The Restaurant, which is not owned by Todini, is owned by Chef John Paterson. John is a great guy and his kitchen is even better. The breakfast layout is beautiful and excellent. Dinners are out of this world. We are here two out of the three nights we were here. It would have been three, but the restaurant was closed Tuesday.

Im Todini logierten wir wie in einem Palast. Die Zimmer, die Lage des Palastes mit der grandiosen Aussicht war schon toll. Leider liegt es abseits von Todi (10 km ?), so dass man auf die Gastronomie angewiesen ist. Die Portionen sind sehr fein, aber klein- der Wein hingegen gut und im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen.

Located in beautiful grounds on a hill 8 Km from town the hotel affords an exceptional view of Todi & the stunning surrounding countryside. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Posizione splendida, bello ma non all'altezza

Hotel molto bello, in splendida posizione, ma gestito in maniera grossolana e non all'altezza di un 5 stelle. Punti negativi: 1) colazione risicata (per esempio la frutta e lo yogurt sono disponibili su richiesta e fornite in porzioni esigue), a chiedere un secondo caffè si ci sente in colpa... 2) personale alle reception disponibile in maniera discontinua 3) siamo dovuti andare via un giorno in anticipo perché mia moglie è stata ricoverata d'urgenza in ospedale e ci è stato addebitato l'intero costo del soggiorno (per altro dicendo che se avessimo prentato direttamente era un conto, ma siccome avevamo prenotato tramite expedia era impossibile). Certo, formalmente erano in diritto di farlo, ma ci si aspetta un'attenzione diversa, specie in un caso come questo

Lovely hotel in the country

We had 2 nice days at this hotel. Nice pool, food was good, service occasionally slow, but staff very pleasant and accommodating. We would definitely stay again.
