The three amenities we were looking forward to on our trip was the fire pit, the hot tub and the movie projector. With the fire pit, there was no fire wood on the property. When contacting the host they said that it was a liability but we could supply our own. I kind of understand this but wouldn't this be the same liability if it was our wood or theirs. And if a guest needs to supply their own fire wood you should have put that in the description. That also goes for the grill, just put in the description that the grill is charcoal and the guest needs to supply their own charcoal and lighter. When we used the hot tub it was apparent that it hadn't been cleaned out, there were leaves on the inside, which is odd because the top was on. The projector was something we were excited about because we have a show that we are watching together and after a long day we wanted to cozy up on the couch and watch. We tried everything to troubleshoot this, but nothing worked. We were told that a manager would come check it out and that did not happen. We attempted to use our phones and project on the screen at the request of the host, but because the apps we were using were already installed on the Apple TV, our phones would not allow us to project to the screen.All in all, the place isn't horrible, and the lake, pool golf course were nice. Our experience especially for the significant expense made this not worth it for us.
