The property was disgustingly filthy and run down. The toilets would not flush and overflowed 4 times before we quit using them. A blind person must have painted the place with paint splashed on the electrical outlets, carpet and trim. The fron door lock was so poorly secred that we had no security for our family. We were threatened by the host 4 days before our stay, that we would be fined 300 if we peed in tbe pool, and that we would be fined 90 if we dirtied his grill. We were also warned of a bear and wildlife issue with the trash, but were told to put garbage out each day in the plastic garbage cans. We did so, and had to clean up a nasty mess on our 6th day. The bear visited and tossed trash everywhere. There should have been a secure dumpster provided, especially when the host warned us it would happen. The furniture was filthy and worn. The patio furniture cushions were piled in the corner all soaked and stinking. We could not sit on the patio. Other than weeds everwhere and worn out pool furniture, the pool was clean and nice. The batroom fixtures were rusted and the entire home was the quality of a diuble wide. The house was full of large spiders. I will be filing a formal complaint with VRBO. Also, we were told that towels were provided. The main bath had three dollar store towels of three different colors, and we had 12 people staying there. The second bathroom had 3 towels as well. Please note, we didnt contact the host because he was so threatening.

House is located in a quiet neighborhood in a culdasac which is great. Loved the kitchen and living area so that everyone could interact while either cooking or watching tv. The outdoor area is well thought out - everyone loved the pool area and the outdoor dining. It was a quick little family vacation so we stayed in and cooked all our meals so the grill was great to have. We couldn't locate a can opener so we had to make due and some bigger mixing bowls could be added. Some beds were more comfortable than others and all the Do's and Don't signs all over the house were an overkill. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed this house and the area. The house was perfect for our family vacation with kids and grand kids. It had everything we needed and was close to everything we wanted to do with the grandkids. The owner is very accommodating and quick to respond to messages. House is easy to get into upon arrival and is located in a quiet neighborhood. Felt very comfortable walking in the area everyday. Would recommend to any families looking for a nice home in a safe area.

We truly enjoyed the house. It was comfortable and the amenities were exactly what we wanted - games in the basement, a well kept pool, and plenty of room. The owner, Tenzin, was responsive and very easy to communicate with. The only reason we have this at a 4 instead of a 5 is Evolve. I assume Evolve is the listing agent. They were absolutely not responsive. And when you call, because they haven’t responded to the VRBO message in a timely manner, you are told to reach out to the owner directly. Which we did. But when Evolve finally reaches out, you spend quite a bit of time defending why you called the owner directly and handled your questions through them - because YOUR message says to do that and even provides the phone number. I would absolutely rent from Tenzin again. But I will not rent from any home listed by Evolve. (And if Evolve tries to disclaim this message - I have the VRBO message log, the call log and the email back and forth to prove my point.)

Beautiful pool!

We enjoyed our stay, especially the time at the pool! The deck area and gazebo with mosquito netting was a huge plus! The pool water was a little cooler than we expected for late June, but the weather was so hot it wasn’t an issue. Had we known the water temp, we may have paid the fee to have the pool heated. The water pressure in the master bathroom shower was weak, but we used the upstairs shower instead which was fine. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Perfect home close to everything

Despite the weather not cooperating for our vacation, the house was a perfect getaway for our family. It is located nicely in a cul de sac with plenty of privacy from neighbors. Everything was as listed. The family enjoyed spending time in the game room/basement during the rainy days. The heated pool was perfect for the kids. Even though the temps were cool, the kids were plenty warm and content in the pool! Plenty of amenities, restaurants, and attractions within 30 minutes of the home. Thank you for providing the perfect place for our family to get away.

Cozy Pocono HOME

Our stay here was lovely, it was truly cozy and homey. My family and I sat in the living room and played games by the fireplace. The living space was larger than expected/needed for our group of 14 who occupied it. The home was clean and very well maintained. There was even a small hill that my kids and their cousins used to sled and snow board down. The home was in a central location only minutes away from grocery store, restaurants, coffee, beer /wine and MUCH MUCH More!!!Communication with the owner was one of the best I have ever experienced. If there were any issues we were able to reach them with a speedy response time. However what stood out above all was the assistance they had provided when we encountered some problems with one of our vehicles not starting on THE DAY of check out. They assisted us with kindness, compassion and understanding overall and provided us with locations of auto body shops to assist us. If you are looking for an extremely large living space, cozy home-like place to stay in the pocono mountains, close to everything needed THIS IS THE ONE!!! We will certainly be booking again next year!

Nice pool and basement, poor house quality

We loved the pool, it was beautiful! The house was not very clean and all of the furniture was old and poor quality. If you are cooking, make sure to bring your own kitchen appliances because the kitchen was barely stocked with essentials, like measuring cups and oven pans. There was no sleeper sofa like it listed, but the downstairs was perfect for hanging out and playing games.

Pocono Family Vacation

Excellent vacation home. The family had a great time and the home was well equipped for our stay. We paid the extra fee for a heated pool and did not think 75 degrees is sufficient for a heated pool. If you are going to offer a heated pool for an extra charge there are effective ways to heat a pool for a higher temperature .pooweek of July. If

We absolutely love this place. Excellent amenities. Enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and fire pit. Even had close morning encounters with baby deer off the deck in the backyard.

Good experience for my first time

Good experience for my first time but the property was not mowed, the living room rug was not swept, there was only one towel for each person in the house. It would be nice if the ad stated you need to bring your own linens. There was only one kitchen towel. The pool and area were very nice and so was the fire pit. The deck except for the ripped screen on the sliding glass door was great. There was plenty of room for everyone and we enjoyed the time we spent together in the house. The game room was fun. Good memories.
