"The host, Chris, was so kind to pick me up from the bus station when I was unable to get a taxi, especially since it was raining. I had a problem with the TV as well as a leaking shower, but Chris fixed them both. The bed was clean and comfortable, as was the room. Great location, within easy walking distance to the centre of town, even in the rain! Breakfasts were so amazingly good, I tried a different menu each day and was never disappointed. Thanks so much, Chris and Sue, I'll definitely be back!"

What I CAN add is that, rather than just 'doing what it takes', Philip & Sarah really have gone 'above & beyond'. There were all sorts of little touches that made our stay so much nicer, which so many other places do not do. Thank you!!! "

"We have had a fantastic Christmas week. The house was spotless and so spacious yet cosy and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and it was lovely to have en suites for every room. A huge table for all 12 of us to sit around. The kitchen is so well equipped. We filled the American fridge and the two ovens easily accommodated our 18 lb turkey with roasties and all the trimmings. The hosts responded immediately when we needed anything.The lane is quiet for walks and cycling for the children. We had good weather and loved the views across the fields.Tesco superstore was 10 minutes away and Fordmore farm shop 4 minutes away. Lots of National Trust properties to visit nearby and wonderful woodland walks. We’d like to come back in the summer to sit out in the garden and barbecue"

"Checkin info was a breeze.Chris was an excellent host. He was there for any questions and was very accommodating. Granma's Cottage is charming. We loved the bath tub and the cosy kitchen. Great links from the train station at Tiverton Parkway. Thank you."

"Great amenities and most things considered. Quiet but close to a town with great independent shops, restaurants and food. Would be great if it was an enclosed garden for the dog even though good walks for her. "
