Perfect spot on the Danish coast

Our mother-daughter getaway at this beach house was remarkable. We loved the room, the views, and the charming grounds. The restaurant was excellent, although as a non-seafood eater, I could have used a few more options.

I love this place. It was a beautiful, quiet and quaint. The food was local and amazing. The staff were pleasant, attentive and social. There was plenty to see within driving distance. The water was beautiful and cold, although it’s a rocky beach, so bring water shoes.

Beautiful scenery. Hotel A bit run down. No fridge or safe box in the room. Our room was on the top floor with a spiral staircase and although a staff member helped carry the suitcase up there was no one to bring it down for us. My 12 year old daughter and I had to carry 2 heavy suitcases down the stairs ourselves.

Incredible location, at the top of a cliff overlooking the North Sea. The food was fantastic, the porch was cozy with and unbeatable view. The rooms were clean but not luxurious

Hotellet og sevice niveauet levede ikke op til forventningerne ift. prisniveauet og omtale. Hotellet er hyggeligt indrettet og har smuk beliggenhed, men personalet var lidt fraværende og værelset var ikke særligt imponerende når man medregner prisen. Begrænset plads på værelset som også fremstod lidt slidt og var meget lydt så man tydeligt kunne høre alle andre gæster når man skulle sove. Morgenmad smagte godt men igen med et begrænset udvalg. Det store plus er klart udsigten og beliggenheden. Alt andet er middel.

Personlig og imødekommende betjening

Personlig og imødekommende betjening af hele personalet. Vi fik et fantastisk weekend ophold og selv vejret var med os med høj sol og klart vejr i marts 2025. Badehotellet er sat meget istand idenfor de seneste måneder, men har beholdt den særlige Tisvildeleje/Hornbæk stil fra 1920’erne samtidig med at alt føles 1.klasses og er yderst charmerende. Vi valgte at booke et standard værelse med havudsigt, og kan kun anbefale nr. 12 som ligger i annexet med en suveræn udsigt mod Nord. Annexet virker som en naturlig forlængelse af det gamle hotel, og er holdt i samme stil. Sengen var meget god, der er hverken fjernsyn eller radio på hotellet, derfor var vores medbragte iPad god til at høre lidt dæmpet musik på værelset fin. Maden i restauranten er eminent, vi fik østers, torsk og den lokale æbletærte alt var lækkert og i passende portioner. Serveringen i særklasse og hver ret blev præsenteret af vores søde tjener. Morgenmaden var ligeledes rigelig og god med nybagte kanelsnurrer og alt vi behøvede. Kan kun anbefales herfra.
