This hotel is NOT even close to what it looks like in the pictures. It is a dilapidated, very dated hotel in need of a gut and complete replacement of everything. The indoor pool is empty, the grounds are littered and frankly scary to stay there, we got in and got out as quickly as possible in the morning. For the price.. this was WAY WAY over priced..

I have stayed at many hotel/motel locations within the last year . I chose this hotel because on the price point for a concert and knew it was for just a place to sleep briefly . That being said , I would not stay there again. The grounds and upkeep/ maintenance were very neglected . The cleaning was not within means…. there were massive smudge marks on mirrors in the room, carpets throughout the structure were filthy and bumpy, bathrooms not cleaned thoroughly etc… I slept in my clothes and myself nor my travel companion showered there. I had better expectations based on recent reviews, but would not recommend and would not return.

So sad to see the disrepair of a once lovely motel while the owners live in a million dollar castle. I'm old enough to remember when it was the Winnisquam House.

Les chambres laissent à désirer sur la propreté et l'état des lieux. C'est très vieux comme endroit et ça manque d'amour. L'hôtel est facile d'accès. Le déjeuner continental, on va passer notre tour. On avait loué 4 chambres et certains lits avaient des cheveux. Bref, le prix est en conséquence.

Located in the beautiful lakes region of NH with nice water views. Family run hotel at a great value . Stayed for a concert at the nearby BankNH Pavillion and it was very convenient.

It was super sketchy looking when we pulled up. Checked in and the lobby smelled, parked car around back and it was a bit scary. Walked into room that didnt feel safe, place smelled. The bathtub was old blue and dirty. The beds had large pivots in them, I was scared to use blacklist on bedding. My daughter didnt want to spend night as it was disgusting and she didn't feel safe. We didn't go back, drive home 3 hours instead. They would not refund me any money, not even a call back. $175 for one night that we didn't even sleep there. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Room was old and dirty actually the entire building is old smelled and rooms are small bed was not comfortable I didn't feel safe at all. People were outside my room window all night being loud any throwing things at the building . I wouldn't recommend staying there and I'll not stay again the staff at the front desk was rude as well not a pleasant place to stay for $100 plus a night

This property is clearly a cash cow for the owners. They are putting no money back into the property for repairs of rotten wood, replacement of old pillows, and maintenance of very sulfur smelling water. Prior reviews suggested the property was not well maintained, and I can agree with that for sure. We stayed here because it was close to the Guildford concert venue. If the owners want to stay in business, they need to do a major makeover of the exterior and replace rotten wood on window, trims doorway, entrances, and general exterior freshness. In addition, they need to have the water system updated because the smell of the water coming out of the bathroom faucet was disgusting. They clearly do not have a water softener or mineral filter. I was concerned about the bedding because it did not look fresh, and I saw stains on the pillowcases, so peaked under the pillow case to see the actual pillow, and they were old and stained yellow, not something I would expect of even a medium level hotel The person working, the check-in desk did not seem to be a train professional. She was businesslike, but not warm, and was stressed as if she was going to work in the garden. It’s set the stage as to the tone of the hotel, which was not a property that was loved and to be proud of. If you need a place to stay near Guildford, this is a last resort Property. It is billed as a Econo Lodge, but I would not put my name on this property.
