The whole experience was great overall. The staff were always at the front desk and helpful, and the property feels a bit more like a hotel, but with simple yet comfortable apartments.
There are two things I think could be improved:
1.The bedrooms have a glass wall that lets in a lot of light; every time the neighbor turns on their lights at night, it’s almost as if you turned them on in your own room. If you want to sleep during the day, there’s no way to block it, so adding a curtain or some kind of shade would make a big difference.
2.The security booth at the parking gate is often empty, which makes accessing the parking area a bit frustrating. When I wanted to leave, I had to let the front desk know first so someone could come and let me out; I often found myself opening it myself without anyone noticing and getting out to close it behind me. Later, when I came back, I’d wait at the gate for a few minutes with no response, then I’d drive to the front and park on the street, walk back in, and ask the front desk to let me in, then get back in the car and drive to the gate. I get that having someone out there 24/7 isn’t always feasible but it would be helpful if there were a doorbell or a camera feed that they can watch from the front desk for more convenient access and better security.
